I think it is pretty easy to forget about Africa in World War 2 considering all the major events that took place around the time.
I've studied a ton about World War 2 and I even forget sometimes. Depending on how deep your history class goes it can easily get buried under what happens in Europe and Asia.

So let me get this straight, I've been out of the loop on anything Giant Bomb related since Monday, 2 new guys were announced to be joining the ranks at Giant Bomb and some ruckus was made by some internet personalities, one which was obnoxiously loud and rude on their E3 bombcast a few years ago? Chaos ensued? Is that what happened?
All I can say is meh at the new guys coming aboard, my interest in Giant Bomb has dramatically dropped since Vinny left. Sites gone downhill and continues to appear so, I would be more thrilled with Danny joining as he has a very different background (being from Ireland and all that)

To be honest, what do those specs even mean?
The minimum is nice to have i guess, so that you don't buy a game that doesn't even start.
but the recommended specs are all over the place, in some games it means 60 fps at max settings, in others it means it will run medium with occasional stutter.
They usually just mention one cpu and graphics card generation per manufacturer, so anyone who has something of another series has no clue.
Unless they know a thing or two about hardware,
At which point they could just look up benchmarks of the game at hardware review sites, and get hard facts on how different hardware performs, instead of text on a box with a varying amount of accuracy.
I certainly never look at specs.
But i do have a gaming pc.

In case anyone is wondering, Vinny moved to New York and is still with Giant Bomb. He's going to be making content with Alex soon and already has put out a few things.

It's still shocking to me that there were two people of German descent at Giant Bomb, but the one person of Polish descent was forced out to live in the wilderness months before they brought in a third German.

They often do a "4th of July stream" of some sort. Probably not UPF format and more like last year's Freedom Stream or past SNES streams.
Yup. API too, so there's tons of apps which expand all the social and competitive stuff. Pretty sure there was a study too which showed that stuff was the biggest motivator.

They're have a pretty midline PC, 2GB GTX670 which is 2 years old at this point.

I personally knew that...something happened in Africa, and Patton sounds familiar, but nothing more. I can't really remember Africa in WWII being mentioned much in history class (I'm from Norway), the focus was always on Europe and a bit on the Pacific. Anyways, this is so not a big deal.

With Brad getting into fitness stuff it'd be cool to see he, Drew and Rorie do a fitness podcast. I'd definitely listen to it on my runs. Considering the topic it may be a pretty dry podcast, but i'm sure they'd find a way to make it interesting.
