Argentina didn't look too hot in the games before (but so did Belgium to be fair) and after the group phase any upset was imaginable.
He got a dose of what Team USA got.
Also, I just want to say no matter what the result is, no one's ever making me or any tico forget one second of how this cup went down for us. The legend of the tico team that reached the quarter finals and dared to go beyond shall live on forever, and years from now, when I have kids and they ask me why I like soccer which is kind of a shitty sport and involves a fair amount of luck and that's boring, I shall answer with only two words: Brazil 2014.

Worst Argentina is still better than 98% of national teams so.
As a fan of positive, attacking football the last few matches have been very disappointing. Most of the attacking teams lost to the conservative ones.

Oh and I wanted Belgium to win but to argue that goal was luck is madness. I'd like to see how you react to an unexpected ball coming your way on your way to the penalty box. I doubt your reaction would involve expertly stopping the ball and immediately taking a breathtaking shot. That's soccer, that's how it's played and that's how you win. You take advantage of every single thing that happens. It's like you guys have never watched a game.

Mainly the stalling was a big negative. Both teams played rather ok but not impressive at all. Belgium had quite a few chances as well but was offside a lot. I'm not calling it a lucky win either.
