If only you knew...actually we have quite some injuries, but they all happened before the tournament even started. Why do you think we played without real LB and RB? Injuries. We lack midfield players. Klose, Khedira and Schweinsteiger were recently injured and are not quite at 100% yet (although Schweini and Khedira made a great recovery during the tournament). Trust me, before this WC started many people didn't expect us to come this far.

Seriously. There was some dumbass posting in the thread during the Arg v Bel match basically saying they should operate on a principal of 'precedent', i.e. that a ref having let go a bad foul earlier in the game (more likely because they didn't see it) should be estopped from later giving a free kick for a lesser foul. Oh, and they should also be bound by the decisions of other refs in other matches.

They had more clear cut chances against Belgium and controlled the match and attacked when they wanted to. They played an excellent match.

That was a penalty though, I've already seen enough angles of it to be 100% sure it was. Robben could have been sent off for multiple dives before that though.

It wasn't a fair penalty at all and doesn't get called nine it off ten times. Irrelevant, because the defender can't leave his leg out there for an actor as talented as Robben to turn it into a prop. You have to know better than that as a defender, especially considering Robben had already lost the ball with his last touch. The ref bought it and the Dutch won, simple as that.

I'm not even remotely a Mexico fan, by the way. It is what it is.
