I loved the charolette/nattie match for the simple fact it felt old school as hell. It got to the point where char did a flair flop which was awesome.

I wonder how much the subs drop off after the first six months since launching.

I subbed as a lapsed wrestling fan for nostalgia. They still don't have nitro or attitude era raws. PPVs have little value to me since I don't have cable to keep up with current stuff.

I've maybe watched one ppv since wrestlemania and will let it expire in a few months.

I think it will drop off huge. They really over promised and under delivered on content. It's great if you love their current product and want to see the ppvs though.

Watch this new people...

What is that? New tough enough type thing?

It's their JV facility in Florida, and it's looking like a strong indicator of the general vibe that HHH wants to go in for the product. They're doing specials 4x a year and a weekly TV show.

It's the best thing they're putting out and is the #1 reason to sub, imo.

NXT is WWE's "farm league" type thing. Up and coming talents get their shit together down there.

It's Triple H's baby, Vince has no input, and it feels like a rival promotion and it's goddamn great. Some of the best characters.

Arrival and Takeover have been their "ppv" events. Really good stuff, young people busting their asses. REALLY good. I highly recommend them.

a few weeks before that subscription period is up is probably when they start adding old Nitros. They have been adding old Raws (they are up to February 95), so if they slightly increase the pace, they should be at Nitro by that time. They aren't stupid- they know there is only a finite amount of content that will bring lapsed fans in, so they are going to be careful distributing it, so they get the most subscribers.

It is a PPV type event for what is basically WWEs feeder roster. It has lots of great up and coming wrestlers (most with multiple years of experience in the indies). The first match on the PPV is easily one of the best match the company as a whole has put out in 2014.

Does this allow me to relive the matches of Wrath, objectively the greatest wrestler of all-time?

Some of them. Wrath had an awesome look. His Adam Bomb matches are on some Raws I believe, but Wrath did a lot of WCW PPV work so get to it!

Right now, the only WCW content they have up is every PPV the company did (apart from WCW/AAA When Worlds Colide from 1994, and the 1999 New Years Eve Kiss concert PPV), and every Clash of the Champions. There is no Nitro (that will be coming later this year), no Thunder, and no Saturday night yet.

Nitro will start getting uploaded soonish, I expect within a month. Definitely before the first six month period is up by the end of August.

What they did first is upload several Raw's a week, because Raw started airing before Nitro, they are now nearly at the point where Nitro started airing with Raw and will start airing the Monday Night War program. So I expect Nitro will go up along with Raw weekly soon.I'm expecting they will also add ECW Hardcore TV along with those Nitro's, but that was never announced.

I'm interested in the Monday Night War stuff and that alone almost got me subscribe.

Is that like a 1 time documentary type thing or is it like episodes where they talk about difference aspects in each episode or something?

20 episodes of it. 1 hour apiece.

Finally! I'm still waiting until it officially launches in the UK to subscribe but I might as well give it a go now.

NXT is great. Everyone should watch NXT.

nice. Do they roll on on a set schedule or kind of whenever they get around to it?

Do you know how many are out now?

0 are out now. one debuts tonight. the rest in august

For those outside the US, unblock-us works a treat with this and I have it working fine on my PS3. I signed up with PayPal as my main payment method back when it opened.

I wish they would do more, and original format, Legends of Wrestling panels. Not the watered down stuff from Cole.

If you really want to watch the modern stuff you could always use hulu. Have to be a plus me ever though. I have to use it occasionally.

I forgot all about how much Bobo just fucking hates the Network.

I don't hate the Network. It's a good value if you are into the current product. It's a poor product based on what if offers if you aren't into the current stuff. Not having Nitro on there is inexcusable. I also don't feel comfortable giving Vince McMahon money as that would make him think I support the current direction he is taking the company, which I don't.

As a UK'er who didn't want to bother with the credit card stuff bit who uses a VPN for Netflix, I jumped on this.

Bit of a lapsed fan these days, haven't watched consistently since probably 2005, but I might check out some of the current stuff and I do enjoy the nostalgia trip that is a late 1990s PPV.

Currently watching the '99 Royal Rumble, app on the PS3 is very nice. Glad to see they've got the Legends of Wrestling round table discussion series on there, I saw a couple of episodes online back in the day and loved them.

Might check this out. Just subbed to the UFC one. Not much need for sports on the TV now.

I can't wait till you all see NXT "talent" like "The Vaudevillains," "Adrian Neville," "Adam Rose," and a guy whose catchphrase is "I Don't Get Hyped; I Stay Hyped."

Thanks for the heads up! I don't watch wrestling anymore but I've been wanting to go back and check out some of the old stuff from my childhood so this works.

If you watch NXT Arrival , you will then have an air of hope the current product is still good, You should do that.

Do they edit the nip-slips on this service? I have like 2 Jackie Gayda nip-slips on an old vhs but would like to see them with better quality

My viewing habits are different since getting the Network. I'll only watch PPVs and catch This Week In WWE sometimes.

Good to see Monday Night War is finally coming.

The Bret Hart documentary 'Wrestling With Shadows' is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

Of course this is not a WWE doc. However, WWE has a very long (as in hours) interview with Jim Ross interviewing Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart together mixed with video footage on the Montreal screwjob, it is AMAZING. And it is on the Network, watch it!

Network is amazing. I keep it on in the background all day at work to keep me entertained. NXT is worth the admission price alone.

Oh, cool, you left the wrestling thread to come thread shit here too.
