Hopefully the loading times will be shorter on the final version. Going to the tower takes way too long

You guys know how to get to that place in the first place that you have to get past two level 20 dregs? I'm so proud that I managed to kill one in 30 seconds. I need to get to share factory and upload a vid of it.

There are a lot more enemies here in the beta than the alpha. Got past them all pretty easily in the alpha just to find hordes of hive wizards and thralls. Other than that, nothing much.
Edit: woops double post.
Completely agree. Hopefully the load times are reduced for the final game.

I believe you can get there from a little road off forgotten shores. Apparently that's where you can find pikes too.

Made it all the way through and...
Nothing. It just loops back into a section in The Devil's Lair.
Actually... it might be worth just exploring that bit, maybe. As far as I could see (and I couldn't see much) it's just a cave connecting the two. There might (and probably is) more to the place but I couldn't find much.
Also there is some wacky cave filled with Thralls that doesn't seem to have much in it but pitch darkness and death.
It's a large tunnel that leads to the Refinery area. Pretty cool map design that reminds me of Dark Souls.

Ssd. It helps except when you are tied to other people. PVE the game is very fast now. PVP is still a tooth pulling nightmare of loading.

Have to say, Destinys PvP is the most fun i ever had with an Online FPS shooter, its never gonna be balanced, but its sure fun a fuck!!

Edit- I'm pretty sure I'm making EVA-01 in the retail game, too.
It might just be lag.
I really felt that the weapon advantage was on some other shit too for a while. I'm starting to notice this is more of a common theme.
But the best way to get guaranteed greens is from Devil's Lair runs. I just explore though - more money in it.

if you're referring to the ones I posted above, I upload my screenshots to USB, then copy to my laptop. From there I can post them on imgur (although imgur does compress the images).
Having a blast with the game so far.
It does have some issues though. Weapon balance, variety in missions, and the amount of content are the main ones. The world also feels a bit lifeless at times. The areas are beautiful and certainly help build the world but there isn't enough to support it from a story perspective. At the moment it's mostly eye candy. Can't really comment on the story itself since the beta could just be compressing the actual beginning of the game (I hope so anyway).
Despite that it's still really fun and I love the co-op. I'm also having a fun time with the PvP but that is a bonus. Just going on an adventure with some friends or a few random people is enough. It would be nice if they'd increase the fireteam cap or have a different mode for having a larger team while exploring.
By the way how does ranking up in multiplayer work? Is it based on wins or what?

Whats the real benefit that you're seeing from rarer weapons in PVP?
While it seems the PvP is unpopular here, I think it's a blast. I've never been one to like online shooters (though I've really only played CoD, Battlefield, and Halo 3) but I can see myself spending tons of time playing Crucible. This game is day one for me. I've spent all weekend playing six missions and two multiplayer maps, so I don't think I'll need a game for a long time once September 9th hits.

Whoa! Never knew it was possible to kill them. I double jumped my way past the first few dregs, then found a path along the rocks that took me straight in front of the shrieker. Had to use some stealth to avoid the knights, get into the the fallen ship and then the cave that leads from there. Inside the cave, there is a massive army of level 20 thrall as well as a wizard (or two?). Had no option but to run and double jump though the chaos. You eventually reach the Refinery and the King's watch nearby. Found a lot of empty real estate back there. Met Roboplato on the other end and we tried making our way back though the caves and the level 20 madness. Died a couple of times but we eventually made it. Also the shrieker opened up this time and started making all kinds of crazy noises. Had some sort of purple glowing ball inside it. Couldn't stand around for too long to take pictures!

Stats are, unless it's an Iron Banner match. I believe rarer weapons will have special attributes that still carry over.
