I want Bungie to make a proper announcement regarding keeping progress from beta to full release, reason being i'm not happy with the race and character customization i picked, but feel slightly attached to it because of the time spent playing.

They should let the player rotate the character in the creation menu, and maybe even run around with a maxed version in a "suspended space" afterwards to get a feel for its abilities and emotes. I know the latter part will break immersion and progression for a bit, but it'd save many people from leveling up and starting over when they realize it doesn't look they way they want or play how they imagined. I didn't commit to a character in the alpha or the beta until i was satisifed with its emotes, appearance, and abilities (going so far as to start over 3 times), and even then I still have some regrets.

Hey if anyone needs to talk to Lord Saladin for Iron Banner rewards. He's still open in my tower on ps4. PSN is Nestled_Grizzly. I'll be here for another 10 mins. Just message me and I'll invite.

Thanks for the invite. I got my cape.

I was 34 moneys short of the emblem though. I sold everything and still came up short.

I'd like to get to buy something from Saladin, but i don't finish work until 4 more hours and by then, I don't know if the beta will even still be open.

=(

My method is the one laid out below haha. It was pretty accidental. I was shot off my bike but the bike rammed into him and insta-death haha.

I remember all those things from the alpha but damn shit got more packed in the beta. Barely made it past the shrieker. Now that was scary.

I wonder how far we could get just ramming sparrows into things

I haven't been able to connect since leaving the Iron Banner for the first time 7 hours ago.

What do shaders do?

Yeah I wasn't able to connect with people for the first part of IB today, ended up playing with randoms which means losing half the time.

Shaders make pieces of your armor different colors. The shader for the Iron Banner is level 20 unfortunately so we can't equip it.

Gave PVP more of a chance thanks to the cosmetic gear for the Titan and Hunter. Got pretty ok with it, usually middle of the pack right now but my Titan is nowhere near maxed in gear.

So far like Venus and Mars the best. Mars is just insanity. So small. Basically nonstop mindless roundabout carnage. Venus is the same way just looks better.

Maps are so uninspired but well ... Only reason to play is for the cool gear so whatever.

I wouldn't call Valhalla simple, but I'd be shocked if they didn't have one or two big open maps like it.

Oops. I meant blood gulch

Just, ya know. Not much to it.

Spent 15 minutes soloing the Tank in free mode and has it down to a sliver of health. Then got DCed. :( :( :( I'll console myself with the assumption that it probably doesn't drop anything.

Once you get over to them the zones around the Devils Lair are very fun to mess around in in Free Roam. Lots of action and level 9 enemies.

Do certain stats of characters or weapons carry over into PvP multiplayer? I ask because I felt like I was getting demolished in half the time it would take me to kill a player. Despite being max level, I don't particularly have the best equipment either (hand cannon, common scout rifle), but I do feel as if there is some lack of parity going on in some way.

Or... you know, I could just be terrible; I don't remember playing this badly in Halo, however. And, well, I could also chalk it up to having only played last night when I was extremely exhausted.

Some of the weapon types are essentially unusable in PVP if you want to be competitive.

The salt is real.

AOE bomb specials are so much better than a special that gives you a gun that you have to aim and shoot like any other weapon, it's not even an argument.

Also the start up time on Golden Gun is so long that you pretty much need to use it before the fight starts. Just blah for PvP.

lol

Why would they be nerfed? If anything, I'm wondering if they're going to take a look at the AOE attacks from the Titan and Warlock.

Throwing knife is REALLY good, but Golden Gun is super telegraphed and has a significant delay, you can't use it as an "oh shit" button like Fist or Nova at all. In games where I'm in a full team, we've shut down plenty of people by just calling it out when we hear activation; "Golden Gun on A, stay away" etc.

Hunters are arguably the class with the least survivability as well, since they don't have the big health of Titans or the fast recharge of Warlocks.
