What does it mean when it says I've generated an orb of light?
i think it's from the new trailer.
It means you killed someone with a super. Your teammates can pick it up and help build their super quicker.
You heard it first here guys. The same for the fact that The Traveler is the final villain or one of his pawns.

The Sahara is 55 after upgrade and no help through upgrades for recoil control...i just have to hold down on the joystick as i go full auto and through some practice i can control the recoil to go auto long enough to wipe out 1-2 enemies in a go. Its really challenging, but it was the best gun i had in terms of stats (the single shot rifle with scope the valka was 61, but with a full auto 55 its much more powerful)
Damn, I cannot wait for Destiny : Reach.

Sahara's kinda hard to use in regular PvP, I feel. The normalisation of the damage seems to impact its overall power.
I'm assuming this is on the iPhone? Looks like the app here displays more info (discipline, strength, intelligence) than it does on the Android app. Hopefully they can bring the Android version up to par.

I really do hope they have other less competitive game types like zombies and griffball and shit like that. I tend to prefer those because kdr means diddly squat and I can just laugh with other people.
Sorry but what to you mean by normalization? I didn't use it much in regular pvp, but in iron banner its power compensated for its difficulty of use...i used the valka in regular pvp.
Grifball was so much fun! Really hope there's something similar too it.

I did like the other MP maps they had for a brief while. Mars was pretty fun and the Earth Russia one was well. Very compact levels. I like those the best.
I really hope they have tons and tons of customization options. Right now my Titan looks like any other titan at level 8.
I was thinking about this too. Maybe some events can do this. I like events that throw tons of enemies constantly while you have to focus on a bigger enemy.

Yeah, I use the Sahara in Iron Banner as well. But when I tried using it in regular Crucible, it felt nerfed.

That and some people regen reaaaally quickly, so sometimes it is just a waste of a grenade.

Horde mode better have a final level where you fight a bunch of wizards and knights. It'd be like lord of the rings. Only in space.
Im surprised how little I've seen of it. Thinking im just playing against a bunch of cod guys that havent thought too much into that yet

Well, the problem is that the most well-optimised Titan armament right now is the Glawior-range, which means everyone's donning white-red or some combination of that.

Played a decent amount of Destiny over the weekend.
It was good. But for some reason I'm still not feeling it.
I played a Titan during the Alpha and a Hunter during the Beta, so far.
Gonna try Warlock next.
For some reason I'm just not getting that "MUST BUY" vibe from the game. I think part of the problem might be that I feel like I'm forced to use different type of weapons that I don't necessarily want to use.
I enjoyed playing with a Sniper Rifle/Shotgun combo (on my Hunter). But the game kept giving me other strange weapons that I couldn't stand using - like Pulse Rifles and weird Scout Rifle semi-autos and whatnot and I felt forced to use them because they were big upgrades over the stuff I had (statistically speaking). And I couldn't advance without using those other weapons, which kinda killed some of the fun for me.
Anyway, I'm still leaning toward the game purchase. I'm just hoping at the higher levels I'll be able to play how I want to play and not be stuck with the dreaded RNG dictating my play-style and load-outs.
It's a solid game - I got no complaints about the content or gameplay engine itself. I just want a bit more control over my own character.
Just my 2 cents.

You can farm glimmer and purchase the gun you like from a vendor.
Well.. i know they hint that if you get the right resources you can tint your armor as well. Or change the finish. Also.. do we know if armor sets that are partially or complete sets will give you good boosts or perks? i have not looked at any of these things haha.

I actually dislike the combat music, but I have some favorites:
The first is a variation of the main theme from the PS4 reveal trailer. [If a video ad plays, start it at 55 seconds to hear it]

Yup. And all those unwanted Weapon (and Armor) drops will become seriously wanted later on when you need Weapon Parts and Armor plating to upgrade the weapons you DO like/want.

Not that we've seen. Advantages come from the uncommon loot, which can be levelled up. Doesn't seem to matter if you wear different pieces, unless there's a specific skill set that makes them stronger if worn as a set.
I like the optimism.
I can feel that they have a lot of story to tell you but they choose to keep it from you for now.
Do we know if there are any plans to introduce new weapon categories or sub-categories in the expansions?
I ask because I'd love a submachine gun or PDW flavor of Auto Rifles. Low impact, low range, average magazine size, good stability, fire rate between the Cydonia/Galahad and Sahara, with fast reload speed and improved hip fire accuracy. Basically, give me the CAR from Titanfall.

I've been asking what the difference is between the vanguard upgrade of the game and the season pass. Website and PSN Store fail to list these things. So who knows.. i have it preordered and i am considering upgrading.
Those are gaf colors tho. I have those for my banner tag.
