Has there been a discussion or mention by Bungie that some abilities will only be available during PvE? I can see into the future... and the rage that's gonna come when people die bc a Hunter is sitting invisible/crouched with a shotgun is gonna be legendary.

I've been thinking there has to be some kind of code system like [left, left, right, up] to belly laugh or something similar. I can't think of a better way to do it..


Missing this game tonight. So into it. The lore and everything. This is going to takeover my life when it comes out. I'm already telling everyone about it and drawing spaceships. I can't get enough.

The radar should at least make you aware they're close. I just hope there aren't any radar affecting abilities.

My guess is it will be like Halo invisibility where you can still kind of see the person. And the could make it so hunters either can't shoot (melee only), or uncloak after the first shot with a decent cool down

Downloading would be fine, the servers themselves will most likely be offline until wednesday, good to get the download out of the way hopefully.
 
Anyone else gonna check out the 360 version? I'm gonna borrow a buddies 360 to check it out on.

It's a hunter ability that you get for Precision kills. Stacks up to 3 times, increases reload speed.

I miss with the sniper often, but most of the time I don't know if I've hit them or not due to the latency, especially with the Golden Gun. Sometimes it looks like the first Golden Gun shot didn't hit them due to the kill delay and I'll end up wasting another shot. The netcode is going to make or break the PvP.

Hunter is awesome and good for the more lone-wolf players.

4. I know a lot of people who do well with higher sensitivities, but I'd rather have steady aim. There have been times where I wish I could spin around and run away faster though >.>
 
Chain of Whoa + Hand Cannon is how the game is meant to be played in PvE.

There's a lot of weapon upgrades that play off of it perfectly too.

I'm concernd about this too. I love the Hunter but that ability sounds like a recipe for disaster. The last thing I want in PvP are invisible snipers >.<

I'm sure the bright red glare would still be there for snipers. Hopefully lol.

On the default share settings, double tap the share button to record a video clip. I have it set to record 15 minutes and after that time expires it will auto save to my Capture Gallery. But if I tap the share button at any time during that, I can save the video clip there by pressing square. You should be careful not to do this and then cancel out, or double tap while it's recording, because I think that discards the clip you were recording.

The best way to upload it afterwards is to copy the clip to a USB drive, as it gets compressed when you use Facebook and Twitter.

Yup, good advice all around.

Before I go into a Crucible or Iron Banner match I'll double tap Share to set the start point. If I forget to do this, after the match I'll hold down Share and press Square to save the last ~15 minutes of footage too.
 
I used the Hunter so far for the beta and has been great. I'm going to play the remainder of the beta on my Xbox One and I want to switch up my class, so I have a question for people who have used the Titan and Warlock:

Which do you prefer? I'm leaning more towards the Titan but I'm honestly still unsure.

EDIT: I also still have a PS4 beta code that I haven't used, if anyone wants it just send me a PM! First come, first serve.
 
What the best practice for scoring the greens that are at the higher damage end?

Not the Strike as all I seem to get there are weaps that outlevel the cap.

Higher difficulty missions?

No really, I haven't been good at shooters since 2008 as well, probably because that was when I graduated HS, but after spending a good deal of time playing the Strike it all started coming back and I stomped in the Crucible and Iron Banner.

It will come back to you.
 
Anyone know if the final game is gonna have more dance moves. I like what I have right now for a Warlock but I know it's gonna get stale after a few days.

Ok, I'm really liking these subtle fired shots for each class.

You can almost taste the salt from the developers who liked a certain class and were sick of the other classes shit. It's fucking great.
 
I was looking at Destiny videos at work all day and savoring the moment I got home to play... Then I saw maintenance and wont be back till Wednesday. What cruel world do we live in.

Haven't messed with Warlock yet, so far Hunter and Titan. Titan has a much more useful Super Charged ability and the melee attack is much stronger. You can take down captain shields with a punch once you upgrade your melee ability and the super charged attack is an area of effect slam that is great for areas like the final boss of the strike when the dropship brings in more enemies. I like to use it their and take out the whole group. It can also be upgraded to where your leap can cover much more range, etc.

Then of course the Titan gets almost a full bar of armor early on.

oh damn that was a good shot. I only used the penetration (lol) in my last clip and I liked it, but I miss having my grenade and throwing knife return faster. The one that makes enemies explode will probably be the most used though, as that can damage nearby enemies as well.

lol at that flash bang grenade. I really hate that thing, especially when they use it by B and I fall off.

That was actually without the penetration upgrade. I just got lucky
 
The first video I saw on destiny made me think "that sounds like it might be fun". After that everything I saw made me think it would be "okay" but not that great and I was considering passing up on it. A friend gave me a beta key and I have to say, I'm loving it. Especially being able to launch into co-op with friends and do some of the fights that way. Now I'm definitely getting it and sad that beta is down atm.
