If you get a knife kill while you have your golden gun out it prolongs the time of your super (not sure about the number of shots, though).

its not just a regular melee knife kill though right, but the special melee(is that what it is called?) a throwing knife kill. I unlocked it but never tried it yet. Thats how i at least understood it. maybe I read the description wrong though

Maybe they're meant to be more like the golden guns you get for preordering Borderlands 2: Snazzy looking, but primarily intended to make the start of the game easier.

Mine was showing 18th July instead of 17th since i'm in Australia.

I hope there's an arena mode in PvP. A classic weapon respawns and powerups on the ground, map control type mode.

That would be nice and customs. Would be pretty easy to implement and there is no good argument for not doing so.

I don't think I ever escaped death from a golden gun even with the warning and cover. The Golden Gun is a lot more versatile and far-reaching than the other supers.
