Doubt exploration or free space flight. But I'm really hoping for a story mission at the very least. They haven't been too clear about it. Probably don't want to spoil it.
 
So will the beta get extended for the down time or is the end date still the 27th? Would be nice to have two extra days to tide over till tlou remaster lol.

Silly Riksis. If you're going to challenge a Guardian to a dance battle, you need to bring better moves than that.
 
interesting I was looking for a code for a buddy and noticed someone in the thread

Was none other than the "matchmaking DJ Jeremiah haha! He was an old contractor at bungie and is now back in the position of leading the PvP Test team.

Nice to see him back he did some fine work in Halo 2 and he said He's been back since reach.

Dude, i really hope so, and expect something other than eye candy at some point. We've speculated quite a bit; from them acting as a low orbital strike "summon" of sorts in battle, to space combat at some point. It's like the biggest cock tease; we really know nothing about this game. It's crazy.

If Bungie announce space combat DGAF would explode, I honestly believe it might happen though seeing how they were thinking about this game during the making of Reach and they were able to test it out there. Also if anything I think the better your ship the more you should be able to carry in your "vault".
 
I'm having some major withdrawals. I can't stop thinking about this game. It's not until I can't play it that I realize my love for it. Alpha did the same thing to me.

Ya I think space combat is almost guaranteed in the future whether it's an expansion pack or destiny 2 or whatever. I definitely feel like the space combat part in halo reach was to see how it could work in destiny in the future.

I had a dream about it. My friends and I were in some area within Old Russia. It was magical and then I woke up. *sigh*

Well, they could do it like Halo, and just let you mute players without adding them to your XBL ignore list, or add options that mutes everyone not on your friend list. Solo play in the Crucible is suffering right now, especially with such a team-oriented gametype being featured in the beta. If it was just Team Slayer, it would be a different story - but as it stands I feel like many times I'm losing matches because I'm unable to interface with my teammates. It's hard to tell people to just hold B and C through the power of interpretive dance and wild pointing.

I had a dream that I was at work (the worst kind of dream) and all I could think about as I worked was Destiny (worst of the worst kind of dream).
 
I really wish we could play with more than 3 people in a fireteam (for co op, not pvp). I would love to just run around with like 6 friends just wrecking shit up in co op.

They only let us have 3 members in a fireteam but a lot more people end up playing in the same game as you :/

Alpha got me to preorder the game. I was worried I might have preordered too late to get a spot in the beta. August is gonna be a very difficult month...

same, I can understand the 3 player limit for missions and strikes(for difficulty and generally level design). But let us have 6 for explore/free roam.

i have seen when selecting a mission, that on the destination maop screen, a friend icon next to the mission icon, and in the desription it said friends playing in this area. So i am guessign you can run into them as long as they are in the main area and not in an instanced mission. But they should make it so you could potetially join them directly.

When I did see people in free roam all they did was kill the X number of Y baddie, so I'd have to wait for those things to respawn again, I've found roaming people aren't helpful either.
 
Has anyone here messed with the secondary weapon, I think it's called a fusion rifle? It's like a shotgun but you charge it up and it's super accurate at distance.

Completely shreds enemies too.

Easily my favorite type of weapon so far. It's my go to as long as secondary ammo is available.
