Also I haven't been corrupted yet myself but I saw someone say if you just close the app and relaunch it that it will continue along fine. No idea if that applies to everyone but maybe worth a try before you delete it.

Check if you're an Xbox Live Gold Member. My membership had expired today, but after signing back up, I was able to redeem the code.

It most certainly didn't unlock Moon, tried just to be sure, but don't have time to test more of it now.
