July Wrasslin’ |OT-15| Hybrids are Best for Business

Why does anyone care about Lesnar vs Cena I? Unless WWE finds a way to incorporate it, it's useless knowledge, just like any previous Lesnar vs Cena feuds in the 2000s.

When Punk vs Cena for #`1 contender happened on Raw, did anyone really give a shit about Punk's promises to leave the company forever after MITB 2011? Was it relevant to the match or story at all?

The match happened with "Post-Return" Lesnar and is still fairly recent

I would say it was definitely part of a longer storyline

The biggest thing that rankles about the Cena/Brock match isn't the match itself, it's the way Cena acted as soon as it finished. HHH vs Undertaker didn't need that "he may have won, but he can't walk out under his own power" finish, but Cena vs Brock did. Then there's the fact that Cena just fucking shrugged off the punishment he'd endured throughout the match as soon as the bell rung (while Brock, struggling to the back, sold his own leg like a champ) and cut that weird "I may be leaving for a while" cocktease of a promo. Not sure what the hell he was thinking with that shit.

I think Rob Conway is a better, more entertaining wrestler than most the gaijins NJPW has brought in... I just don't care about the NWA title angle at all. I'd like to see him wrestle Ishii.

Whenever I see names of people who 'flopped' in the WWE seemingly make a name for themselves elsewhere, I always feel strangely happy. It's good to see and makes me want to check them out.

If Sting only has one more match (which I think is stupid, he has at least 5 in him).

If its not Undertaker, who will it be? I actually dont want to see him and undertaker anymore, it would be a bad match.

If hes going to lose his one and only match, who should it be to?

lol MVP wanted to beat the shit out of Bill DeMott. Wish he did.

The Bam Bam shoot is good too
'How'd you get started in the wrestling business?'
'Well, I was a drunk'

That Gorditas combo meal for lunch was way more tasty after having not eaten since 6 p.m. last night. This intermittent fasting thing is the real deal.

Not at all surprised you find Conway more entertaining (even though I don't personally agree), but I do think he's a very solid wrestler and a perfect fit for the WWE in-ring style, especially the more experienced he's become. The trouble with the NWA title deal is that no one interesting challenges for the belt - Kojima was the only challenger worth a damn. Ishii would be a good one, though, and I hope Conway's back soon, if only for more watashi-wa Bruce Tharpe-des.

So what is the deal with the NWA Title? I checked it's history since it separated from TNA and it's pretty... crap?

It's been pretty worthless ever since WCW left the NWA, except in Japan where the belt still has some name value left (mostly because they weren't exposed to the post-WCW nonsense, except for that shitty Hashimoto/Severn match in ZERO1 that stunk up the joint). The current NWA owners are money marks who bought the name and belt, but they've rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, apparently. There was that whole thing with Pearce dropping the title because they refused to let him defend it against Cabana (presumably not wanting Colt as NWA Champion, only to put the title on fucking Kahagas).

I find it kind of interesting that Brain kayfabe brought in Harley Race, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Lex Luger, and Ric Flair into the WWF. All I can glean from it is that the Brain character must have been an NWA mark.

Bootaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, what is your Youtubers? I want to watch some of the matches you've been posting in the last couple of days.

So I watched an SNME with Demolition vs Brainbusters 2/3 falls and it was beyond superior than the Usos/Wyatts the other day at Battleground. Take from what what you will, the message is basically the Brainbusters are so good.

My only complaint I have for Demolition is they weren't stiff enough in their beat downs. Really should have tightened those up a little, for the working man.

I remember that. I would like to actually re-watch that one.

The problem with an angle like this is the only way you can do it is as the 'REAL World champion' angle a la Flair in WWF. If Rob has the NWA title, and he's showing it off in NJPW, he should be feuding with AJ. The perfect angle would be that Rob is delusional and thinks the NWA title he has now is the same one that was the most important belt in wrestling history. That he's just as hard of a worker as Ric Flair and Harley and Kerry and all those guys. And he's stuck in time, so he acts oblivious when they bring up jobber guys who held the title after it lost its relevance.

Only to do the Flair and quickly say NO NO NO THIS IS THE REAL TITLE FUCK THAT OLD NWA TITLE in the scenario that he won the IWGP title.

i gotta watch this one.
is it up on the youtubes?

Watch it while it's up. The uploader put up the Simon Dean one as well, and like I said, everyone should watch that one. Hell, everyone should buy it. I think it's my favorite shoot of all time, and I have no real attachment to Nova/Simon Dean, but he's been all over, and it shows.

Vader put his helmet on the ground and did his little thing during a tag match with Yoko and Bam Bam, and they both started laughing at how serious he took his gimmick
