Both sides have their own finely crafted narrative. People end up picking one and defending it, in many cases even if it's irrational.

Yeah, if I lived in a glorified open air prison and saw my sister territory fail to slow encroachment through moderation I would definitely see things a bit differently.

This.

The really annoying part is that this was actually Israel's best chance to take Hamas out.

I don't think Hamas has ever been this isolated before. Syria and Iran ditched them because of their support for the Syrian rebels and ISIS(the Syrian government actually expelled Hamas from Syria), Hezbollah ditched them for the same reason, and Egypt's pro Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas government has been replaced with a strongly anti Hamas government. Hamas's only friends, Qatar, Turkey and some elements of the Saudi government, are friends in terms of lip support and financial aid only.

Instead, Israel had to go on a genocidal rage and start bombing women and children. Both sides are fuck heads.
As far as I can tell, Israel is using the conlfict as a means to destabilize the Fatah-Hamas coalition that was formed earlier this year. A stable, united Palestinian government is not helpful to those Israelis (like Netanyahu) who don't want a two state solution and want to maintaint the status quo.

The IDF denied this, correct?

The IDF always initially deny

Then it'll be that they were terrorists

then it'll be that they're investigating

then it'll be that a hamas rocket misfire killed them

then it'll be than hamas was using them as human shields

then peoples attention will have moved on.

They're currently at this stage.

I'm not sure why we should believe anything the IDF says.

How could you possibly know that? Like just because one source is contrarian?
Well IDF has denied every major civilian attack, only to later acknowledge it. But you are right, we should give IDF statement equal weight as an eyewitness account from the journalist. Why look in the past... 3 days.

Fool me twice?
"Ya can't fool me agin."

[/Dubya]

I'd say by now it's perfectly clear the Israeli government has instructed its military to employ the Massive Retaliation doctrine, even though its use against heavily populated areas is criminal.

Can you provide a source stating that UNRWA confirmed casualties? As far as I'm aware the situation is that: Hamas fired rockets from the school, Israel fired back, and one mortar fell near the school but it was empty.

assuming we're talking about the school designated as an emergency shelter in Beit Hanoun:

http://www.unrwa.org/newsroom/offic...-unrwa-commissioner-general-pierre-krähenbühl

At approximately 14:55 today, as hostilities were intensifying, UNRWA’s Beit Hanoun Elementary Co-Ed A and D school compound was struck by explosive projectiles, causing death and injuries to multiple displaced Palestinian civilians who had sought refuge in this UN installation. This school had been designated as an UNRWA Emergency Shelter.

If the world powers will remain silent about these monstrosities the free people won't, it's disgusting that a country that is accounted for the free inutile gent world like Israel remains blameless. What do you think this will create more hatred toward the modern western world.
The new modern Western democratic world are nothing but big fat liars, only the powerful will reign and if there is any justice left in this world believe me those child murders will pay a high price.

hmm...

1. IDF firing on the shelter is confirmed fact
2. Hamas firing rockets from the shelter is unsubstantiated claim
3. UN shelter being empty when it was completely full is a complete lie

This is shot by the Israeli government, and that’s their claim. The U.N. has reviewed it, tells us they have confirmed, in their view, the video does not show rockets being fired from U.N. administrative school in Gaza.

Zayn Malik on Israel-Gaza: One Direction singer bombarded with Twitter death threats after posting #FreePalestin

The One Direction star, who was raised a Muslim, was bombarded with death threats and messages of complaint after he "did a Rihanna" and tweeted the hashtag to his 13million followers.

And to start with, Malik might have assumed his protest post was a popular decision: the tweet garnered over 130,000 retweets and 138,000 favourites in a matter of moments.

But it soon became apparent that not everyone agreed with his opinion on the emotionally charged conflict, that has seen over 1,000 Palestinians perish in Gaza and

"U have fans in #Israel. It broke me that one of my idols wand me to die @benwinstone @harry_styles @onedirection [sic]," one of the lighter tweets at him read. <<<< the fuk

The heavier ones from pro-Israel fans included calls for him to "kill himself" or to let them kill him instead.

Of course, Malik isn’t the first famous face to tweet about the conflict. Rihanna forced a similar reaction when she posted #FreePalestine via her official account, only to delete it minutes later.

It's funny how Israel places the situation, it's either support us in the killing or you want us dead.
Which reminds me of the famous moronic phrase "Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists."

Fool me once:

Fool me twice?
You dont get it. This is just Israel spreading fud in the media. 2 months from now bobbbleheads will still be asking important questions like "If IDF did not say it fired the rockets, then who did?" IDF objective of saving their name is achieved.

How in the hell are they allowed to continue this this isnt justified its fucking murder god someone step up and do something

They're using the way 24 hour news cycles work to their advantage. Get their narrative out there quickly and once the story is out of the headlines and the facts come in it gets much less attention.

We all need to step up and keep it buzzing everywhere, in the net and in real life. We need to raise the pressure our governments get, so they have to do something in that conflict. In case of the USA it would be already a great help if they started to do nothing.

Can you explain why you just cut and pasted a bunch of quotes from Wikiquotes and didn't bother looking for any source material?

why aren't you debunking it like you did with the picture, or is it because you cant.

he used wikipedia big deal, he provided a quote, prove he is wrong.
