It's so sad to see that tweet saying he needed the compliment :(... I would've showered him with love had I known. I wish he could've seen how much we as fans appreciated what he did for us :(. I know I didn't know him personally, but his effect on my life has been profound and I'm just one of the millions he touched in his time.
 
The world has become less funny today as Robin Williams has left us today. Thanks for all the laughs.

Looking at it entire Twitter feed has been taken up by Tweets about him. Shows you how much of an impact he had on our lives. RIP Robin Williams!

Dont understand whats crazy about this? Get people who have suicidal tendencies help. It is a selfish act pretty and that is accepted by everyone. Whenever you hear about suicide that is the message from everyone.

Give 'em a break. I'm twenty nine and I didn't know who Johnny Cash or John Wayne were until my late teens, and even then I was still too young and immature to appreciate their work. Now I own all of Cash's discography and working on John Wayne's movie catalogue on Blu-ray.

That's the great thing about film, TV shows and music, they will be there for new generations to discover.

This is pretty sad, I loved Williams, he was immensely funny.

It's quoted enough, so if it's going to be a ban then it is, but this is ignorant. It's not selfish. People get help and it doesn't work, even after years. Some people try to get help only to not have it taken away from them by others. People don't kill themselves because they're selfish, they kill themselves because living in the world is literally too much to handle.

My response was reactionary and unproductive and I apologize. I hope the above explains why.
 
This is seriously hitting me hard. I don't know why, I never even knew the man.
Eyes are watering and everything.
An absolutely heartbreaking tragedy.

I pray for his family and his friends to be comforted somehow
 
Not even just his movies. He was one of the best guests you could ever get on late night shows

Nobody could control him so they just let him go off and steal the show lol. I'm gonna youtube some of his letterman and ferguson stuff

My earliest memories of Robin Williams is from Mork and Mindy. I was too young to know what I was watching, but I remember laughing all the same.

He was an actor whose longevity has covered my lifetime which is probably the reason why this is such a shock to me. I can't say there are many actors who have acted in TV and film and been so memorable for 30+ years.

I am so saddened by the circumstances, but the laughter and tears he game me are such a bright light in my life, I can only be thankful I that he shared his talent.

WHat the godddamn fuck! This is crazy.

This is horrible, I grew up on his movies. This really is a huge loss. Condolences to his family and to the entire world, no one was not a fan of his. Amazing actor.

RIP Robin.
 
This has been one awful string of celebrity deaths. This one sucks bad. Really shitty to hear about the depression, makes you wonder how long he's been miserable while making others laugh.

RIP.
 
I can't deal with this.

RIP, Robin Williams. You were an integral part of my childhood and helped me cope with a lot of stuff when things got bad. Goodbye.
 
Wow, this is such a devastating news.

I can't remember the last time a celebrity's death impacted me so much.

It's so hard to believe, cause he is the first name that comes to my mind when I think about a person that always was funny and looked so happy, like full of energy and will to live.

He for sure will be missed, I know I am :(

RIP Robin

Thanks for the laughs and influencing my sense of humor at a very young age.

Can't think of another entertainer that made me laugh as much as he made me cry.
 
My jaw literally almost disconnected when this came on the TV when I was at dinner. My face froze that way for a literal minute.

I've felt sick ever since. No celebrity death has ever affected me like this, and I wouldn't even call myself a big Robin Williams fan... but your body knows what your mind may not. He was a part of my childhood.
 
A great actor.
A wonderful father.
A fan of Nintendo and The Legend of Zelda.

I have no words. Our childhoods will always remain with us.

As the words from Sheik spoke from Ocarina of Time... (because Zelda loved Ocarina of Time as much as Robin loved the original Legend of Zelda)
