Hulk Hogan Dead at 71

That's why having mixed feelings should not be shamed. He WAS racist but we didn't find this out until MUCH later in his life (thanks to that reality show, I think?) but there's no denying the IMPACT he had on little boys and girls who would choose wrestling or even firefighting, the military or police work as a vocation because of his inspiring character of Hulk Hogan in the 80s and early 90s.

Who is shaming for having mixed feelings? I'm not seeing that anywhere. I only see people using this as an opportunity to shit on the guy.

Helps WWF go Global in the 80's with Hulkamania and Wrestlemania.

Helps WCW go Global in the 90's with NWO.

Comes back to WWE for another Red n Yellow run in the 00's.

Helps TNA beat WWE in a rating win in the 2010's (lol).

The biggest draw of all time and imo the GOAT of pro wrestling.

Rest in Peace Hulkster!

I'll write what I shouted when I read the thead title:
WHAT THE FUCK IS GOINN ON?!!!
I remember him from Gremmlims, Rocky III and his last pro Trump appearance.
RIP gentle giant.

This hit me pretty hard. I was talking to my wife and she could see I was visibly upset as I had explained that he was a major part
of my life growing up, especially in the 1980s when wrestling had big characters and stories, basically a live action comic book for kids.

His death took something out of me. My brother Solarstrike Solarstrike along with our other brother grew up watching and being entertained by Hulk
and the many others like Iron Sheik, Andre the Giant, Roddy Piper, etc. It's sad to see all the faces you grew up with passing away.

Rest well Hulk(Terry Bollea) and thank you very much for the memories and God Bless.

RIP. I grew out of watching wrestling quite young, but I won't deny how big of a star he was, even outside of the US.

Hulk Hogan's popularity could not be understated on a global scale. He was huge world wide. The first real WWF superstar. I would say the few others wrestlers who came somewhat close to his popularity were Stone Cold, The Rock, John Cena, and a few others. Maybe Undertaker? ... controversial opinion... Donald Trump... I mean, Trump is the only WWE superstar to become president of the United States... twice.

I'm not talking about in here. Just in general. It's like you can't feel a way about someone that just died. Death is always painful. Just because YOU didn't like the person doesn't meant they were $hitty their whole lives or that no one missed them. I'm seeing a whole lot of "you should only say good things about this dead person" and "oh, they died? Let's party" ...

It's insane the vile garbage people are saying.

I don't care if people want to dislike the man for the dumb stuff he said or did but the fact of the matter is he was a huge part of the wrestling boom and older people's childhoods. No one can change that. These same moronic fucks posting how happy they are he is dead are the same people who cheer for SCSA, who beat the shit out of women. Hypocritical dipshits.

You do not have to agree with negative things he did but at least have the decency to respect the legacy left behind and the impact of his death for people who grew up with him.

It was in Florida, at the Netflix debut. He came out to hawk his new beer or something.

It wasn't in Florida, it was in LA.

Soon after he endorsed Trump and the election so I think it's pretty safe to say it was a very left leaning Californian crowd. People tried to excuse it as past stuff and spruiking the beer, but c'mon, the timing. It was in January.

man this guy death brought out the worse in the purple pussies.

Hogan is a legend, a flawed man but a legend none the less. He was larger than the business itself that's for sure.

And even though I definitely rooted against him when he fought against the Ultimate Warrior, he gave us Hollywood Hogan and the NWO.

Whatcha going to do brother when Hulk Hogan hits you with the big boot and leg drop?

Yeah, he got booed in LA at a raw premier. A day later. LA fires…

In fact, I made some Grok photos to help me visualize what might've happened in order to solve the mystery, but I never posted them in that thread.
