They pretty much don't review any game that can't get them mainstream traffic unless Alex or Patrick takes an interest to it.
Alex is still going to review Wolf Among Us. Just you wait. Any week now....
I get your point, but personally I find Quicklooks or whatnot better than a review as when there's more than one personality I have a better chance at getting an opinion I can relate to. For example if Brad and Jeff are doing one together, I'll more than likely be swayed by Brad's opinion.
That said they usually have a QL and review of the same game anyway so v0v

I'm not sure if typical reviews really fit what GiantBomb does now. While I love reviews (and don't want to see them disappear), more and more sites are trended towards video. To me, a quick look is almost more reliable than a review because you can see their reactions and their tone. They are also VERY entertaining. While this is not getting a review since it's so old, what would you rather want: A Mario Party written review or a video of them playing Mario Party together (provided you have a subscription)?

Not a waste at all, it's a good point, I just don't have as much time as of late and it's difficult for me to sit down and watch all the quick looks for games that I'm interested in. I respect their opinions for the most part, so a quick and easy thumbs up or thumbs down would help out some.
For instance, I'd like to know what they think of Hohokum, but alas, no review on the site. *shrug*

Maybe video reviews would be good. And then have a quick written rundown with Pros and Cons and a thumbs up/thumbs down rating.

That'd be perfect. I think part of the problem is that "quick" looks are becoming increasingly longer and it's a rather large time commitment (averaging out at 45 minutes to an hour long).
So a 3 to 5 minute video review would be perfect. Or as you said, a thumbs up/thumbs down system. I don't really need a 5 star scoring metric, just tell me if you like it or not and a quick rundown of what stinks and what is great about it.

And opinions and stuff! Danny was never realistic at all. CBSi spent money to get him over to the States to work for Gamespot, and he's now the most important employee over there, the face of the site. He was never going to go to GB. He's still in a bunch of GB content though.

Your right as well, it is just my opinion but it's just a shame I feel that way as it's slowly going to drive me away from a site I've been so invested in since the beginning. Maybe he'll grow on me over time but as of now I'm really having doubts about re-upping my subscription.
Farewell I guess. You probably shouldn't reup then since Dan will be in everything from now on. The majority of people seem to find him to be a great addition. I personally think that this is another golden age of Giant Bomb content after perhaps a year of them being in a slump (though who can blame them for that).
