I warmed up to the idea of Plusle & Minun upon the realization that they are likely the only cheer squad that had a shot at being playable in Smash

Ooh! We needed a Mario Party stage, even if there's no way it'll ever not be banned. My only question is why 3DS? I mean, I can see it thanks to Island Tour, but it's mainly a console series, with 2/12-3/14 on portables (Not sure how to count the e-Reader board game one or the arcade one.) And as weird as the gimmick of the Hades stage is, I can see that being pretty great, too, even if, again, it'd be yet another 3DS Gimmick Level. Besides, the more Hades, the better! I just hope he's playable next time. That Tower stage sounds awful, though; why does Sakurai feel the need to make them? Who even enjoys playing them?! Ugh...
And for the Panel de Pon one... Lip hype, anyone?
But seriously, I love Puzzle League, so it'd be cool to see this IP get some more Smash love; a stage might be cramped, but would definitely be fun.

Vanellope von schweetz - Ralph appeared in sonic racing when racing is clearly her schtick, so i think it's only fair she represent in a fighting game to balance things out. Also she's clearly the best character in the whole movie :3

The panel de pon level just makes Lip not even being a trophy, let alone playable just hurt even more. At this rate she's going to have herself repped in just about every way possible that doesn't actually show the character itself
Other M Ridley was actually supposed to grow naturally after his metamorphosis in the original concept art (see the bottom left). In the game though, they made him grow true Pokemon style.
There was a Radiant Dawn track in Brawl though.
Is it wrong that I love the visual concept? The concept of a snake building a big robot body with arms so that it can actually do shit is hilarious. It's like the goldfish in Megamind.When is the most formidable Sonic foe in history on the 3DS and Wii U getting in Smash?

Funny thing is that that concept is already older, it's appeared in Freedom Planet, and that character's been shown like months, if not a year or so, before Sonic Boom was even announced lol. It all comes to full circle considering Freedom Planet is heavily Sonic-inspired.

I can't see Sakurai thinking a one-off DK boss that's going to be forgotten by the next game is worth making a character out of, might as well make mad jack a character by that point. But then again we did get Lucina so I guess one-off characters that will be forgotten aren't completely out there.

I doubt the snowmads are going to be reused anyway, it's either going to be kremlings or some other animals based on some other historic era/culture.

Fire Emblem's a special case due to them replacing their cast every one or two installments. It and Pokemon are probably the only franchises that have had what could be described as "flavor of the month" characters
(Sheik is also an arguable case, but the fact that A) She's technically Zelda and B) the fact that they apparently were planning to use her in other games after OoT makes a decent enough case that she doesn't fall into this category)

Maybe Krool is the one who woke the Tiki's up from the volcano and game Frederik the ice horn and the idea to take over DK island.
It would be a nice way to potentially end the trilogy and bring in Krool, while still making him the ultimate final boss for DK.
The enemies in Tropical Freeze were basically just kremlins in a different skin anyway.
