Ferguson: Police Kill 18yo Black Male; Fire Gas/Rubber Bullets Into Protesting Crowds

Despite Mike Baden wringing his hands every five seconds about not having enough information, that autopsy report is damning.

Let's take the officer at his word about the gun struggle story for a moment.

The morning after the shooting, Chief Jon Belmar of the St. Louis County police said that Officer Wilson was leaving his police car when Mr. Brown “allegedly pushed the police officer back into the car,” where he “physically assaulted the police officer.”

“Within the police car there was a struggle over the officer’s weapon,” Chief Belmar said. “There was at least one shot fired in the car.”

Mike Brown pushes the officer into the car and goes for his gun. There is a struggle, the officer gains control of his gun and shoots. BOOM.

At that point, the police said, Officer Wilson left his vehicle and fatally shot Mr. Brown. “More than a few” shell casings were recovered from the scene.

Presumably, Mike Brown staggers backwards from the car, dazed and in pain from just being shot. At this point, what happens? We know there were at least five other shots, because those are the ones that hit Brown. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. Add in other shots that missed, and common sense tells us that this officer was just unloading at this point. You don't just squeeze off that many rounds with a semi-automatic weapon on a whim. I've fired guns, the trigger pull of a handgun plus the recoil makes it anything but an afterthought.

In some ways, when you break it down, his version of events almost seems worse than the one the witnesses are telling.

Who cares about the curfew? You've got peaceful protesters, plus the angry protesters who want to start something, and it's 11:00 PM. You really don't think the angry protesters wouldn't get antsy, and not start antagonize the police who are prepared for shit to go down?

Unless there's some magic curving bullets in that officer's gun, yeah. I mean, I'm sure you can find some other angles that would create a similar entry point for a bullet, but Occam's Razor here: Hands up, palms at about eye-level, is probably the simplest explanation of where his arms were.

Everyone was confused. There was literally almost nowhere to go. We went into a parking lot, and cars were peeling off all around us

And I guess my angel is Stacy Graham of Jerseyville, Illinois. I saw her backing up and asked her if she would give us a ride.

Dude. A white woman approached in a dark parking lot by two panicked black men? And she still told us to get on in.

No. MSNBC had a guy on saying that for grazing wounds, entry and exit cannot always be that easily determined. But even if all the wounds were all to the front, it's really not hard to imagine that he might flinch/fall as if shot as a reaction to the sound of a gunshot.

The autopsy as it stands now doesn't really fully prove anything for either side. Perhaps the federal autopsy will be able to test the muscle alignment at the time of the wound in order to confirm the orientation of his arms at time of shooting.

I cant believe anyone would have their kids out there at night, period. "Peaceful protests!" Blah blah blah, there have been groups of idiots out there every night doing idiotic shit which sparks more shit off. If you didnt expect that tonight and tomorrow again as well, you're dumb.

You know we keep bringing up that he's a "child". For all we know he probably has what Webster, that dude from MTV, and Gary Coleman had.

The one on his hand (long gash) looks like a long wound. Showing his hand would be pointed towards the officer fingertips first. Probably near his chest.


The one inside his arm is the same. It's a long gash as well.

Possible. Could also be one of the last ones that hit his eye, as his body collapsed and his arm lowered after the first 4 shots.

Frankly, if you, as an armed and trained police officer, cannot subdue an unarmed teenager without opening fire upon him, you shouldn't be a police officer.
