Autopsy confirming his hands were raised is a bigger fucking deal than him not being shot in the back. Holy fucking shit. Something inside me was still like nah, no way they shot him with his hands raised. But here we are.
Restricted to staging area, no freedom to move outside and document what's happening without risking arrest themselves.
Police carry mace for a reason. Unless he was on PCP or some other crazy drug the cop should have been able to subdue him or call for backup.

You don't fire a bullet to a head to neutralize a target. Unless by "neutralize", you mean "kill"

I'm sure some people will claim that Mike was charging with his head down. My guess that he was shot in the eye and as he was going down he was shot again in the top of the head.
Not confirmed but an autopsy expert did say the wounds are consistent with someone with their hands up like that.

CNN had an independent autopsy expert make this claim, but since he is only going off the report, it's hardly definitive. Just suggestive.

If it was one of the final shots, it could have hit his head as he was stumbling from the first shots. It doesn't confirm an execution style shooting.
Autopsy expert on CNN, but I'm not sure I'd call that conclusive just yet.
The eye shot was also with his head down. It went out of his jaw and into his collar bone.
The headshots are hard to understand, possibly falling.

This is actually really common. Usually the first reaction the body has to being shot is going limp and falling. I think it might be from the shock.

As tall as he was, 6'4, getting shot in the top of the head. He probably was on his knees. Wish we knew the angle of the shot.
Neutralize = kill and/or until there no longer is a threat.
Semi auto pistols have a fast rate of fire and sometimes within the officer firing the target has been neutralized without the officer realizing. Officers when they choose the lethal optIon it means kill. An officer can and should stop when the target is either dead or noncombative.

I'm 5'11 200lbs, and I've restrained larger kids than that. I work with emotionally disturbed kids in the inner city, and I'm trained in a variety of restraining techniques and tactics.
I'd like to believe that cops are a lot more trained than I am in restraining people who are out of control.
