Curfew is gone!
Interesting.
Curfew is gone!
Curfew is gone!
Curfew is gone!
If the avatar has no pants, it's probably the latter.
Has anyone actually criticized him for it yet? Just seems like a potential preemptive complaint.
I'm still waiting for the toxicology report on the killer. I'm sure that'll be coming any day now!
Has Assimsomething been facetious all along as well? You've entered a trap. Abort. Abort plan! He's really on your side!
The dead have diminished due process rights.I've always wondered why this isn't done.
You've read my posts. You just told them they need to ban you...
Curfew is gone!
Ding ding ding.So was the curfew for police safety also? Now that he has the national guard to defend the police, the curfew is no longer necessary. Am I getting that right?
To try and shift blame.Curfew news is great... but sending in the National Guard is mixed. Why do you need the national guard again?
Has Assimsomething been facetious all along as well?
I get what you're going for, but it wouldn't be impossible for someone to spin that as him knowingly doing something that was federally illegal and illegal in his home state, of which he'd be returning to.
Not saying it makes sense, but I can imagine there's ways to spin it regardless of its irrelevancy.
If I was a DA I'd layer you with trafficking charges. But if I flew from the UK to Amsterdam smoked a joint and came back I wouldn't expect to be treated like a criminal on my return, despite still having MJ "in my system" for another, what, 30 days. The law isn't against having MJ in the system, and no local laws were broken at any point. This seems simple to me.
Who are you referring to?
AlimNassor.Who are you referring to?
Had to go back and find the name: AlimNassor
AlimNassor.
And, no. He's been serious.
Who are you referring to?
So when is Obama going to make a statement? I know it's a state thing but it's getting international attention from NGOs like Amnesty, and the broader social issue is definitely a national one. Right now as a leader he looks like he's more scared of offending his opponents than reassuring the people affected by this.
Darren Wilson's face doesn't look messed up.
It's grainy yea, but his face looks alright.
Oh! And this is a new witness that corresponds with the other witnesses. Tried to pull Brown into the car, Wilson shoots while Browns running and Brown is shot multiple times when he turns around.
Gov. "Rock Wit Me" Nixon XD
See this is what I thought.
It wasn't really effective at all anyway. People were still driving around past midnight. The looters and violent people were stopped because they were routed by the police, not because of the curfew.Curfew is gone!
God CNN, "hearing you on the video you sound really upset." Really?
AlimNassor.

That said, I'm not sure if America's federal system is analogous to my example above.

I'm no lawyer, but I do know that the US and other nations can and have justified use of extraterritorial jurisdiction laws in the past. Granted, those were in the case of more heinous crimes like child prostitution in foreign countries or terroristic activities. Totally different circumstances I know, I'm more just trying to explain that while you shouldn't expect to be prosecuted you certainly can be.
Not saying the kid should, or would be charged either. I'm simply saying that if you want to assassinate someone's character it's pretty easy to do from simply spinning this.
God CNN, "hearing you on the video you sound really upset." Really?
Let's just generally reign in the sarcasm. It's very difficult for moderators to tell the difference between a cleverly crafted Poe's Law post and a post that really needs a ban.
Just wanting to point out to people: I don't believe Crenshaw is a new witness. She's the one, or one of the ones, who originally had to hand in her photos and video + cell phone to the police?

She also prefaced it by saying "I couldn't see/tell what was going on, but it think...."
Yeah, that's a shame really. The thing is, it's basically preaching to the converted isn't it? The only people that are going to look at that headline and go "There you are, he was a thug", they already thought that surely?
That's how I normally sound when someone gets shot in the face in front of my house.

I'm surprised she wasn't asked if it gets old quickly.
There's no empathy there.
Reminds me of the GAFer who had his car totaled when the pipe burst at UCLA. Said he was interviewed asking how he felt about his car being stuck underwater. How do they think he feels? It should be pretty obvious, right?
