Like I said before, I watched all of Season 1 and I could only name 2 female characters. If that's a waifu show then they did a pretty bad job. Game seems to have much more waifu elements than the show did, seemingly optional but also welcome because I actually wanted to know more about the other female characters than the show gave me.

Not to get into a thing here, but what's up with all the Asuna hate? I liked her character in the first 14 episodes. Sure she got really emotional at times, but outside of that she seemed like a strong character who, from what I understand, is ruined in the second half.

That tentacle scene sure was awful. I didn't like at all how they treat her as a character in the second part, it was a huge shift.

I think the translation is going to be functional. It seems they've changed some stuff, like the "we've gotten better after so many penetrations" thing. It's not going to be that good, but it'll work and you'll be able to understand the story well enough. If you're a native english speaker it may be more cringeworthy for you than me and other non-natives.

Sure. I misread what he was asking (why would anyone care about sales). I'm just on a bad roll today. But the game was generally well received by critics/fans over there, as well as sold phenomenally well. I guess we'll have to wait and see what reviews for the NA think. I'll be curious to see what they think about it.

Everyone buy this game. I have 80 hours on my Asian import copy and I still haven't beaten any of the 2 arcs, nor have I touched the 30hr patched content. Game is craaaaazy huge, a lot of meat on this bone. If you enjoy RPGs, stats, and want to try a different type of gameplay (skill based with cool downs, like MMOs) you can't go wrong. I'm calling it right now, this is going to be the next Persona 4 Golden.
