It looks SO fucking ridiculous it looks like it is satire. I know it is not.
I hope it is.

The Hell does Wilson need money for? He didn't even lose his job. Are they like, donating so he can buy an expensive lawyer for his already rigged trial?
the problem is you can call them racists all you want but they'll never realize it. in their world they are not racist, they just appreciate and defend cops to a fault. michael brown was a legitimate thug in their eyes. you could sit down with them and have a civil 8 hour discussion with them about racism and it would still never click.

Daren Wilson supporter Tina Morrison (left): "It was a good shooting, you know. It was a good kill."
Sums up my reaction perfectly.Cary Len ‏@CaryLen 52m
@JimDalrympleII Jesus. That's how hunters speak about their kills.

Morrison: "I'm not a racist. One my my best friends is a black woman and she knows I'm not a racist." #Ferguson #STL
It was. A good. Kill.
Who the fuck talks like that about another human being?
Why would you even think it was okay to have peace signs when talking about supporting a guy that shot someone?
I mean, regardless.

Because, they want to cause anger.

I know this [s]painting[/s] poorly composed photoshop is politically and morally offensive, but I can't help but be fascinated by it as a work of art. Why is it that the American ultra right is so talentless? Of course the artist has technical skill, but their ability to convey ideas artistically is so limited and literal. There's no synthesis of the ideas the artist wants to convey. Literally everything the artist wants to discuss is thrown onto the canvas - a fully rendered officer, his hyper masculine appearance, protecting a blond haired white girl, who's clutching a teddy bear, and shielded by the officer's angel wings, which are adorned with stars and stripes, and behind them is another American flag, and in that image a superimposed eagle looking down, in the background, golden wheat fields in 'heartland' America, but the color pallet suggests some kind of dystopia, America in peril... And on top of all that is a fascist, racist inscription in shitty calligraphy for those who might not have gleaned the point.
The lack of subtlety is astounding. And you see this in American radical right wing art all the time. Why is that?
Their target audience would miss anything that wasn't immediately obvious at face value.
Because they're racists, plain and simple. They don't believe that Michael Brown's death is a tragic loss of life. Something that everyone acting logically can agree on regardless if you believe Wilson's shooting was justified or not. So they're out there using the language that a hunter uses after he kills a marked target, or that a marksman would use on a firing range after winning a competition. Holding up peace signs in the wake of a senseless murder. As if his life somehow meant less than that of another human being's life.
And it's absolutely sickening. :\
I dunno, man, that display of ignorance and hate for simple logic about other humans just is a little incomprehensible to me.
I get racism. I get prejudice. I get hate. But at the end of the day, I'd like to believe people at least have a little morality.

..well past the time to scrap this police force.@ryanjreilly: NEW: #Ferguson police officer allegedly hog-tied and injured a 12-year-old before joining force http://t.co/fKtR1WEOpI
These people believe they are moral.

I know you're trying to prove a point, but that picture is really disgusting.

And a bit overkill. I'm not saying I don't think people are "that racist". I'm saying it's incomprehensible to me at times.

I think the poster was trying to show the extremity of what people are capable of doing when they believe they are in the right but are too blind, racist, hateful or whatever you want to call it to see that they are completely in the wrong.
It's horrifying imagery but sometimes it's necessary to remind us all what "decent" people are capable of abiding.I know you're trying to prove a point, but that picture is really disgusting.

You also missed the twin towers in the background left side.
That painting is probably just recycled 9/11 iconography, but one of the things that shocked me when I was in the South was all the memorabilia devoted to the attacks, well after a decade after it happened, as if the event has taken on religious significance.

This is why the terrorists won. If we had treated it like business as usual, America would be a much better place today.

That's actually the second one. The first one stopped taking donations around $250k.
Well, unfortunately...
If only people could at least channel their racism and money into worthwhile pursuits instead.
