Falcao is a strange signing. Great player, undoubtedly. But:

- It's yet to be fully seen if his injury will impact his game at all - look at Lucas after he had a similar injury. Falcao isn't as quick as Lucas was, so he might not be affected as much
- £6 million loan fee and millions more in wages, for a one year loan
- Doesn't exactly help an ageing squad, as he's 28
- Doesn't improve the main areas United need to strengthen (defence for one, has Rojo even got his work permit yet?)

The loan fee was good, how much are his wages? Does seem like a marquee signing in place of actually strengthening in more needed positions. If it gets them top 4 though it's probably worth the gamble. Big if.

Great move by them, this could be a real game changer, LVG has seen through the clubs over-reliance on a declining duo of Rooney & RVP.

While they still have some weaknesses, Falcao could just be man to mitigate them. Now they have a real chance at top 4.

One reason why Falcao loan would make sense for FFP reasons is bc wages could be "paid" by Monaco on books (tax-free) w MUFC paying Monaco.

Don't worry what Ornstein says. The club has always been very secretive with our transfer dealings. Only time things are leaked are when other clubs leak. There really are no ITK guys for Arsenal.
