Has All the evidence come to light yet? Did he rush the cop? Was he just shot dead. Were the witnesses giving accurate testimony or conflicting stories.

The witnesses all gave similar accounts from what I remember.

It's unlikely anything official will come out until October. That's when the grand jury investigation will end.

Garbage...from both sides? Nah, not really. But yes, Mike Brown was shot dead.
 
I've been out of this story for a few days. How has the media coverage gone? Has the media gotten bored and moved on? Have tv personalities declared we are paying outsized attention to race or trying to oppression white people yet?

if you mean all the witness statements were saying similar things. He was shot dead and police kept trying to obscure the facts.

The "witnesses" that disagree were all hearsay based on the shooter's testimony. Every actual firsthand witness has been in agreement from the start.

An audio recording has surfaced with 11-12 gunshots being heard, with a pause in between. It appears to match witness testimony.

That's not even a joke, sadly.

Growing up, my mom gave me very, very similar advice when it came to dealing with police, and, to be honest, white people in general. I grew up thinking it was standard advice moms gave to their kids. It wasn't until I was much older, and began to see for myself the major differences between the experiences whites and blacks have in this country, especially in regards to how police interact with them.

There are no conflicting stories among the eyewitnesses that have come on record. None of them state Brown rushed the cop.

All facts point at he being shot after he surrendered. There's no proof officer Wilson was ever in danger, and there isn't even proof Brown punched him.

Dude, there has been at least a dozen people that back up the officers version of the events...not a single one has come forth and given an account of this but yes, there is "garbage on both sides".

Gotta love the pretzels people bend themselves into to make everything "equal" here.
 
This New York Times article has a bit towards the end about the immediate aftermath of the shooting that I don't think I've seen anywhere before.

Mr. Stone ran outside and saw two police officers, both white men, standing near Mr. Brown, who was lying on his stomach, his arms at his sides, blood seeping from his head. Another neighbor, a woman who identified herself as a nurse, was begging the officers to let her perform CPR.

They refused, Mr. Stone said, adding, “They didn’t even check to see if he was breathing.”

We know now that it wouldn't have helped due to the final shot that entered his brain, but they couldn't have known that at the scene.

The "no riots" comment is stupid because it doesn't take into account the historical inequities that have created the backdrop for the Ferguson riots, but the response itself is inane based upon the facts of the case where it took nearly five months for the case to even be presented to a grand jury and for the deputy to get arrested.

Coincidentally, both cases have clearly bullshit "official" stories that were floated by the officers involved. In this case:
Last August, the two men were driving on Loop 1604 near Lookout Road when their mirrors bumped. Both vehicles then pulled over, with Thomas' vehicle “positioned in front of the Decedents' vehicle,” according to a custodial death report recently released to the Express-News. Then, according to the report, Jackson got out and ran towards Thomas' vehicle. Thomas saw him “holding something 'shiny' and then heard what he believed was a gunshot,” the report states.

Thomas, who was off-duty, fired eight shots at Jackson. One bullet struck his chest, causing Jackson to stagger back to his car and collapse in the driver's seat, where he died.

Now, one difference between the cases is that no one in the media apparently tried to slander the victim's character. Of course, it also seems as if no one really cared about when it happened, either. Here's a search from the time Jackson was shot to the day before the grand jury indicted Thomas. Seven total hits.
 
if they make the cameras part of terrorism scare and look like cool tactical shit the cops will be covered in them head to toe.

It's more the "time goes on" part and not the "injustice is more apparent" part. People are fatigued from the story and feel like there's nothing they can do to help.

We'll see a spike in interest along specific parts of the case, like if the officer isn't indicted.

This is not forgotten, even with Gamergate being the current scandal du jour on GAF, and ISIS and Ukraine in the news otherwise.
