I really don't like how everyone is using a uninformed people as the scapegoat of the debate. Everything is shit flinging and then suddenly someone comes in asking "what's going on" and then 8 million people do their best to twist their side of things into a way that would hide everything negative about their argument.
Why would that make shadow demon so especially effective though? There are plenty of illusion heroes. Also Huskar is a mean ass counter.

, why does valve like causing so much heartbreakThe 90%+ magic resist you get at really low hp is fucking obscenely good against techies. You can just dive in, hit a bunch of mines, get to like 15% hp, then kill techies off and then kill others.
Someone did it in my last game is was hilarious.

this game should've ended at the thirty minute mark in our favor, then theirs basically right after that. We were only able to keep their push at bay because two of their rax off a good teamfight. We were pretty sure they were gonna push mid any second as they wittled our towers down after every botched attempt at taking their bottom T3. We lost a pretty bad fight, BUT THEN

I didn't do it at first because I thought it was an illusion, but I think that kill put them into panic mode and they fed us one by one as we pushed mid. Scepter on Techies is bananas, not optional and I'm not sure how people are gonna push a good techies player with buyback with a setup like that (though silencer did have gem and pissed me off some)
100% winrate with techies come at me

Long game, but Techies is good at holding base (Especially when they are simply scared to push even if a spot is lacking in bombs). We didn't get our first tower until 57 minutes into the game. We were at a 15k Gold and XP Disadvantage,
I have managed to get first blood with my mine traps in both games I played, so good.

Necrobook isn't that amazing to disarm bombs, you can just set off one and get rid of it. At the moment it doesn't even reflect damage.
