Barnes and Noble had a poster set up over some turtles books
It was Kevin Eastman "artwork created exclusively for Barnes and Noble".

Anyway, my brother took a picture of it and fixed it up so i could make a desktop out of it.

So here it is. Maybe others can enjoy:

Dude this is awesome and so are you.

I would kill for a real copy of this poster.

...

This is where I admit that while you've had those last few manga avatars, I've been getting you mixed up with Freeza.

I have and it's deserving of the praise you guys are throwing its way, but Animal Man is just that good to me. Morrison does some amazing things in that book.

Oh okay cool. That wasn't meant in a "You've read Doom Patrol and you still love Animal Man more?" kind of way. I genuinely couldn't remember if you'd said you had read Doom Patrol. Haha
Animal Man is also an amazing comic and I completely respect that opinion.

Hmm, might use this when I want to pick up some floppies rather than digital. Thanks for the suggestion.

No problem, I've been using them for a few years and they're pretty good. If you can't find something you want on their webstore, email them. They managed to track down copies of 52 Volumes 3 and 4 for me a while back when they were out of stock everywhere else.

I feel like every time I read this thread I leave wanting to buy either the Doom Patrol omni or the X-Statix omni. Neither of which I have the money for right now. But I also feel like I'm gonna break and buy one or the other soon enough.

In order to push me over the edge, tell me, do I need to know anything going into them? I know practically nothing of DC, and while I know more about Marvel, I don't think I'm all too familiar with Marvel from that time period. Will I be confused or do they stand on their own?

I've done my job. Haha

And both of those omnibuses are completely standalone and self-contained. You'd be just fine picking up either of them with no knowledge of DC or Marvel.

I'm confused. Is the Grayson issue this month a tie in with Futures End? On comixology it shows the next issue is the Futures End one but does it have anything to do with the current story line?

huh, I have like last 30 pages of last thread to catch and then this thread, busy day ahead! Been sick for a week and been reading a lot of my last months pulls (also some new shirts, mmm):

I'm really enjoying all the Star Wars stuff. I still have bunch of omnibuses (hopefully) coming: Knights of the Old Republic 1, At War With Empire 1 and Quin Lan Vos's Omnibus too. There might be something else too, I've wasted so much money on these omnibuses that I don't even remember what I got anymore!

And guys, you weren't kidding about Shazam. It's been on my wishlist for months now and last month I finally ordered and read it. Probably my favorite of last month, so amazing stuff. And the art? Gosh. They need to continue this.

Flash and Red Hood were sorta meh, I don't know why. Maybe 'cause I was feeling very sick when I read them.

I'm going to actually talk about comics, which I don't do a lot, but after a while of meaning to, I'm trying out DC again to see if I can love them again.

I read the new Teen Titans book and I'm not sure if it's great, but I don't think it's terrible at all. I didn't read the Lobdell Titans as I was warned, but this seems like it could be fun. I enjoy the art too, so I hope it comes together.

Geoff Johns on Superman seems like it's off to a good start and I even like Romita Jr's art on it, which has always been hit or miss for me.

Detective Comics art by Manupal is really pretty and great to look at, plus it is written well which is a plus.

Not a ton, but I have some more to try out, and I'll probably have a lot of catching up to do on some titles.

You should also try Snyders Batman. Its very great.

Statue gaf knows that feel.

I would just like to say that Southern Bastards is a magnificent comic and I thank my lucky stars that comixology exist or I may not have been able to read it. It's like Justified on crack

Earl better not be fucking dead I swear

SO I got a couple of those future's end issues since i have more money than sense. In Tec, did Batman really
hand over the Riddler to be killed/savagely beaten/cornholed at the end?
That's fucked up.

Action was interesting but that art was super weird with all the ziptone everywhere.

The most annoying thing about these stories is how inconsequential they feel. Here is a future that will definitely not happen! Yaaaay?

But they're dark and edgy!

Aaron writes definitive modern Wolverine character arc and future glimpse of his development.

Marvel destroys this by ensuring it can't come to pass and he just dies a killer.

Just Wanda up again and literally No More Mutants this shit for good. Might as well at this point as, oh no, no more Bendis X-Men?! Hell all Marvel team books are now an absolute mess (other than Superior Foes and New Warriors!) with countless books and events contradicting each other. Remender's Avengers doesn't sit with Hickman's a thousand year plotcrawl, Fantastic Four are just deadmen walking, oh and Bendis has ensured GotG is sufficiently buggered too. Axis is going to be a totally assured clusterfuck.

Blehhh, enough capeshit. About to start Michael Cho's Shoplifter when I get a chance to sit down. Love his whole use of negative space in the drawing. Really masterful stuff.

Just finished reading Sensation comics #4. This is the best issue yet. A great stand a lone story with fun art. Check it out Diana fans

edit: also just read the wytches free preview. Well I was already on board for Snyder and Jock but now it's a done deal. Great teaser.

Man, so apparently IST's solution to massive books like the Hellboy Library Editions is just a sea of packing peanuts. I'll upload the pictures later when I get a chance (off to my local con shortly).

Edit: I'm pretty sure these books have enough heft to them to work as a blunt weapon. Also, surprised to see that the BPRD Omnibus was so much smaller. Going to be weird on my shelves...

Why has everybody so big problems with Uncanny Avengers? As far as I heard, will the final event if the series
be a time travel, which corrects all these problems?

Would make sense for me, the rest of earth 616 just take place after
the correction happens? Kinda like in back to the future. Uncanny Avenger is the plot of the movie, where we see Marty doing things in 1955 while the rest of the comics play under the assumption, that he corrected the past and is now in the better 1985, that we see in the end of the movie?

Would you be against a return of the solo X-23 series?
This would be my second most wished comic next to Spider-Gwen :/
