I've uninstalled and installed the Vanguard Armory thing like 6 times now. Done multiple complete shutdowns, nothing is giving me this stuff.
Did you reset licences under settings/PSN?

That how preorder bonuses should be and console specific ones too!!What a sham, the vangaurd pre order weapons are so useless. They can't even be upgraded, and at level 7 I found better weapons from loot and enemies.
So much for pre order bonus.
Have you tried restoring your licenses via settings> psn? That worked for me.I've uninstalled and installed the Vanguard Armory thing like 6 times now. Done multiple complete shutdowns, nothing is giving me this stuff.

How's the free-roam element to the game? I've been most excited to experience something where you can kind of go anywhere to do missions, upgrade and play as you please, maybe a little like Mass Effect. Is that a big part of the game?
Combat is really satisfying but it's really familiar. If you're looking for a futuristic/science-fiction/fantasy arsenal you're not going to get it here. I mean they 'look' it, but it's all the usual stuff you'd see elsewhere. The higher end perks/modifications you unlock through use will add some to that, but from what I've seen they are mostly just faster reload / more punch as your mag runs dry.
If you don't like running around and shooting shit you're not going to like this game. The missions aren't that varied and the game world is inhabited by things whose only function is to get shot in the face / glowy bits. This isn't meant as a knock, it just is. We've all played/seen enough games to know what the deal is with this. I'm enjoying it enough that I don't even mind the loot drops not being all that interesting so far.
Biggest annoyance for me so far is navigating the game to get to mission areas. Tower > LOADING > Orbit > LOADING > Mission. AGH.
Wolfenstein is still my GOTY so far.
So what are the thoughts on the 'missions'/story in this game?
Is the 'SP' stuff over pretty quick?
He said Wolfenstein, not Watch_Dogs.It's kinda funny that you criticize one game for being a little generic and then another game that is the epitome of generic is your GOTY.
Uh metacritic user scores are not looking good. what's up with that?
I'm in class and I just got the text saying my
copy has arrived!?
AAGGGHHHH DESTINY!!!
So, no surprises? Cool weapons, combat encounters, mission variety, world-building, storytelling? This is a Bungie game, come on, they must have some cool things up their sleeves.Combat is really satisfying but it's really familiar. So do I need Ps+ to play this game?
Any story and lore impressions? does it have any good/memorable characters?

I really wouldn't classify Wolfenstein as generic. It's brilliance stems from the fact that it is taking themes that could easily be considered generic and turning them on their head in some really interesting ways. It's kinda funny that you criticize one game for being a little generic and then another game that is the epitome of generic is your GOTY.
This game should be played solo. it is as simple as that. the mission structures and overworld are far too bland. when I find myself having more fun messing around at the tower than the actual game, that tells me something. maybe more about me.
sigh
fucking wow.

Did stealth vandals get a buff since the beta? Fuckers.

Ending cinematic. Do I need to say this is a spoiler? I haven't watched it so I don't know if it's legit or not.
