Still pretty useless. No in game implementation as far as I can tell.
Really? Fuck. Why bother with it? Come on Bungie.

Ended up not liking the game as much as I thought I would and ended up trading it in. But, I just noticed I have the "Gamestop Exclusive Sparrow DLC" code which I never bothered to activate. First one to quote this gets the code via PM.
Once you go hand cannon in PvE, you don't go back.
Maybe?
Same here. Headshot machines.Seriously. I started using a hand cannon on my warlock, and I can never go back. So satisfying.
Definitely. Sending it now.
Wow, reminds me of vintage Bowie. I really like it.
Bladedancer super is all I've ever wanted.
So im level 6. I cannot kill anybody in the crucible. Like at all. Everyone is so highly leveled already it's almost impossible for me to kill someone.
Am I missing something? Is there a traditional Bungie Halo style multiplayer where everyone has the same starting loadout?
No shit, right. Godly OP'ed.Once you go hand cannon in PvE, you don't go back.

Twilight Gap might be seriously one of the worst multiplayer maps in videogame history.
No legendary, but I got this...

Normal multiplayer mode is scaled so high level players don't have a gigantic advantage over lower level players.
If you're getting wrecked, chances are that you are simply not as good the players you are palying.
how do you do third person shots like that but with that pose?
this may have been mentioned but how do you remove the hud? I try the quick option/share but rarely works.

;_;
How? Just ... How?
Is it worth changing warlock's subclass? i changed for a while, but the supercharge move.. seems to do nothing?

glad to see these aliens are still getting work.
Just spent like 2 hours on a Strike mission on Earth and damn what a bitch to play.
The first time I did Devil's Lair on the beta it took around 2 hours too. Dayum !
Yeah, I suck. There's no question about that. It's very frustrating is all. I keep coming across guys with shields or other weapons that are killing me with 1 or 2 shots. My guns aren't doing shit.

Yep, Bungie are definitely going to be supporting this game heavily. I assume The Queens Wrath is story content they're dishing out for free.
Great post. Agree with everything. Destiny would feel so much better without ADS, or at least without those stupid accuracy penalties.1) Staring at a giant gun model, at the cost of seeing what's going on in front of me, is something I strongly dislike. Halo had what I called "combat clarity", where being able to see action and receive visual feedback clearly was a key design philosophy. This informed many aspects of that series, from scoping to grass height to weapon effects and damage indicators (no raspberry jam). For half the kills in Destiny I'm looking for numbers to pop up to confirm them because the gun model hinders the visual feedback. I think it's genuinely bad game design.
2) I like fluid game play. Having to choose between movement and accuracy is just awful, IMO. It's really jarring in Destiny going from nice, floaty movement, big double jumps, sprinting along...and then you turn into a nearly stationary turret for the privilege of aiming straight when an enemy appears. It also greatly limits how dynamic the encounters can be (can't dodge and return fire at once, can't jump and shoot...) The gap between how fluid Halo's combat was compared to Destiny is enormous for this reason.
Destiny is one of the first games I've owned to use ADS. It's probably my single most hated gameplay mechanic in gaming right now, and what kept me from buying other shooters last gen. I really can't over state my dislike. That I find the game fun despite there being ADS is a borderline miracle.![]()
No, it's the raid. And all of this stuff is just stuff they had done before the game came out but are mostly releasing for limited time events.
