I actually prefer pagination since I browse on up to three devices (PC at home, laptop in class, phone everywher else) and it is hard to keep track of where I am on a page between devices, but easy to keep track of which specific page. So 50ppp allows me to find my place faster than 100.

After spending almost two months studying like a bastard for the bar exam, I'm finally playing my Vita again. At last, I started with SAO.

Nice self control

When I get busy I have to ask for a temporary ban or else I end up spending too much time on gaf

I'm more than surprised that an italian newspaper knows what a PSVita is.

I'm not interested in the game at all but it's one of the few exclusive western games coming to the platform and it's sad to see that people are begging for it on other consoles.
I read article as italian newspaper begging for PS4 version in the end.

SAO was not what I thought it'd be. The combat feels... Sluggish. The graphics look Ragnarok Odyssey-ish, and I'm not too sure about the story so far.

What feels sluggish for you? Depending on the weapon you have, the speed of the attacks greatly change (Ex: One Sword is quite fast but deals medium damage, Two Swords deal a lot of damage if you consistently use Sword Skills, heavy weapons like the Axe and Two Handed Blade hit REALLY hard and deal lots of damage but are very slow, ect). Not to mention, you have to use your Sword Skills alot alongside managing your SP meeter (can raise it by pressing the 'Good' button on the touch screen/R+D-Pad Up).

The story....is not really that major sadly :(. From what I played (up to floor 85 with two out of the I think five sections of the Hallow Area cleared), the story is quite mixed :l. For the 'main' game (Alicard), you clear the floor and the story largely involves the many girls in the game almost literally throwing themselves at Kirto...even though his is married :l. Even his sister does this XD! On the positive side, it can be funny seeing Kirto deal with these situations at times and Yui & Klien have some of the best moments in the game XD!

The Hallow Area really doesn't have a story, but what is there is okay. You meet this random girl (Phila) and she is a 'orange' player (aka killers in the SAO world). Kirto is cool with this and they work together and explore the Hallow Area. As you explore you bump into
Black Coffin
group, all leading to....something :l. Didn't get that far in the HA yet (the place is friggen huge XD, so it will take a good while to fully complete that story).

Give it some time, a 30 minute impression barely scratches the game's surface :P

Clear a couple of floors, explore the hollow area for a bit, maybe try the concealed area. Once you get a handle on the combat and character growth systems you'll probably get hooked. Make sure you're timing your burst attacks with the flashing indicator to do just attacks and scope out the skill tree to find some skills to start working towards by leveling various weapon types.

About SAO, yes, I've played the first hour or so of the game. It's just because it now, after spending so much time without playing my Vita, I need that game, y'know? It'd be Danganronpa 2 for sure, but it's stuck at customs, so I need something else to keep me going for now. I played another hour or so of Velocity 2X. It's a nice game, but it's no huge improvement from the first game, even if you add the platforming bits.

Towerfall Ascension was a waste of bandwidth to download.

This post is so wrong. Get some friends together and have the best time of your life!

seriously, have you only played the single player? This game is meant to be played in MP. Single player mode was just an extra imo.

The PS4 PS+ games for Oct.

Drive Club , plus 2 indie games. well recieved but older indie games. Havent played either myself.

Wooo. Can't wait for the shitstorm.

I always heard people praise the combat system, even my friend. Now you make me curious.

I turn gifs off on mobile. Can easily tap one to see what it is if I'm curious.

GAF tracks your position in threads already. Click the GAF icon on the left side of a thread title on desktop browsers, or the > arrow on mobile GAF (you can set it to go to 'first unread' in the settings)
