Just did the weekly with one other member of the GAF rebel alliance. He was a lvl 24 warlock and I am a lvl 25 hunter it was super intense but I was able to finish off a gold bounty because of it and get my first exotic shotgun. Now I only need exotic or legendary heavy weapon and helmet to get the suited for war trophy.

That's what happens when you takes a weeks worth of vacation off work, and get this, I have less than 40 hours in this game.

The bounties make a WORLD of a difference when it comes to leveling up, and I never step a single foot in the crucible. I actually like the vanguard bounties a lot as it gives me something to work towards and they are fun little activities to do.


Oh and I also found a all black shader from a random chest.

Edit: I just been informed that the shader is not black, but a very dark purple. Looks black on my screen though.

PvP becomes a blast once you hit lvl 20 and start getting some decent gear. I'm completely addicted to this game. I think the map design is generally fantastic. Supers can be annoying, but I like them as a comeback mechanic. Maybe there should be some indicator when the enemy is fully charged so that you can gtfo of there.

Not gonna bother grinding. Crucible is where it's at now.

There is - nameplates flash yellow when a super is charged, both friendly and enemy

the temple of crota farm will give you a lot of green engrams to dismantle

Do that farming spot on the Moon and you'll pop a ton of greens that you can break down for parts. I had the same issue as you re: not enough WP but after about 30m farming that area I broke down enough stuff to upgrade 3 of my weapons i.e. 48+ parts.

Already did that for like 30 minutes earlier. Used them all up immediately, now I need more.

What I find more interesting is that it seems your Grimoire score carries across all your characters. I figured the lore cards would but wasn't sure about the kill-based ones. Glad that they do.

Remember when doing the PCP run to enable the Black Wax Idol thing to get more glimmer, play on Hard lvl12 (at least, don't think drops change at higher levels but you can get more exp) and decode the blues and use the glimmer to buy a bunch of greens (or blues if available) to level up your Cryptarch rank to get more chances at purples (my latest packages finally gave me some two purples!).

How the hell do you level past 20? I have two pieces of armour with light and it says light level 20. However it sags progress to level 21 is zero.
