T.M.N.T : Turtles In Time #4 of 4 was an ok issue. It felt kind of flat too,, like that issue was just a big lesson about life lol. It was a decent mini series though.
Braddock's the defender of the omniverse, it makes sense he'd be consulted on incursions.
I would have liked Turtles in Time more if Ross Campbell drew the whole thing
only had a chance to read Superior, Spider-Gwen, and last week's 2099. Cover me in spiders.
I'm out on Wicked and Divine. Just not my cup of tea. My wife gets it so I can still read it if I choose too.
Deadly Class tonight and then done.

So I just read the last 9 issues of The Long Halloween in one sitting. Not necessarily because it was terribly gripping, but mostly because it was a super quick read due to the shallow writing. I enjoyed it for what it was (some great Tim Sale art holding up an average plot with bad dialogue).
And in fairness,I did NOT see that ending coming. That was pretty good.
Also, the mass amount of super obvious red herrings got pretty annoying.
But yeah, it was worth the time to see that great Tim Sale art.
Hahaha. Perfect.
Now go and read Dark Victory![]()
At least it had the proper Two Face design, I don't understand why some artists like to draw hair on his "bad" side for the modern age, I prefer it to be near-bald and with scraps of hair.
Just ordered a sketch book from Marcio Takara with inked headshot of Spider-Gwen. Pretty excited!
Put me down on the side of "I think Long Halloween is really overrated" from that conversation a few days back.

I've been on the fence with Wicked and Devine. I like it but just not grabbing me like #1 did. We shall see how I feel after I read #4 today.
It was only recently I realized he wrote 2 long runs on the character, and that the (OOP) omnibus only covers the Marvel Knights stuff. So I wonder: is everything a must read, both MK and MAX? And should you read MK before MAX? Because that's a whole lot of Punisher. But I'd probably love it since Preacher is one of my favorite series

Oh I need some info on Ennis' Punisher. iirc he has done
- Marvel Knights, which starts out with 'Welcome back Frank', which is hear is pretty important
- Punisher Born short series
- Punisher MAX

Besides, Welcome Back Frank hasn't aged that well.
@jasonlatour
And yes... I'd could definitely write a lot more about our #SpiderGwen & her world.... If y'all want (wink, nudge, wink, devil emoticon)
I personally don't think it feels dated, but I'm also a fan of Dillon's art (I know some people don't care for him much), so that could have something to do with it.
There's a certain era of Dillon that I really love, and WBF is probably at the tail end of that. But in general Ennis humour tends not to be my bag. It also just feels a little quaint in retrospect after the more serious comics.
I actually thought Dillon never looked better on Jason Aaron's PunisherMAX run. I think it was Matt Hollingsworth's colors, like those baby blue eyes he gives Bullseye.
Nice.
It's insane (and completely justified) how popular Spider-Gwen is now. I hope she gets her own book.
Hollingsworth is one of the best colorists in the industry IMO. Super excited to see that new Remender book he's coloring next year.
Fellas, I'm gonna ask for a favor from y'all. I signed up to do a comic convention here in Austin showcasing as an artist. I realized I don't have much original art to sell, so I'm gonna be doing some real live drawing again.
If you were to buy original art at a comic con, what kind of art would you be looking for and what characters would appeal most to you? I think I can do about 5 pieces for the con and I'm just wondering what people might be most looking for.
I whipped up a Batman one last night. I think someone might like enough to give me money for...

Can't go wrong with Harley Quinn
Hipster Batgirl , Groot or Spider-Gwen are all hot right now.
Great art by the way.
Listen to Messi. He's got his fingers on the pulse of the industry.

Hey I did pick one character that wasn't female. :/
Also, you should trust the guy with the most posts in the thread. He knows his shit. Clearly.
Last month, word started circulating that a follow-up to Brian Michael Bendis Daredevil: End of Days would be coming, and it would be called Punisher: End of Days. Artist and writer David Mack has revealed more details about this forthcoming volume at the Singapore Toy, Game, and Comic Convention (STGCC) earlier this month.
Our correspondents were on hand at STGCC on the 6-7 September, where Mack addressed the audience on the future of this book. A sort of sequel to Daredevil: End of Days, it will follow the story from the point of view of Frank Castle aka The Punisher.
Mack, who is currently writing the series with Bendis, said that DC Exclusive artist Klaus Janson will not feature on the series, but instead it will be fully painted in the style of Elektra: Assassin by none other than Bill Sienkiewicz himself.
Punisher: End of Days is a working title for the series, and there is no release date scheduled as yet.
Bendis is writing a sequel to Daredevil: End of Days starring Frank Castle:

Just saw the preview for the next GotG issue, not really looking forward to it.BMB should leave GotG and do a street level solo character book, where he excels.
Whoa, Janson is DC exclusive now?
