yeah bundles are pretty great, especially if you already bought bits and pieces of bundles before, they let you finish the bundle with the discounted amount.

For me, I had modern combat 3 and 4, so somehow i can get modern combat 5 for free.

I believe the math is if the combined current price of your purchases of individual games in the bundle is at or above the price of the bundle, then you get the remaining products in the bundle for free. If the combined price is less than the bundle price, then you can pay the difference between them and get all remaining products.

That doesn't work for me :( I checked the Angry Birds bundle and it wants me to pay 1,79€ to complete the bundle even though I own 3 out of 4 and the remaining one (Seasons) is at 89 cents. Crap :(

yeah the iphone 6 games category has shit that hasn't been updated for months... what are the hot first wave of games that support the new devices natively?

Are the gameloft games updated for metal supported? How about Galaxy on fire? Those guys tend to be up and up on the new stuff.

Is the sorcery 1/2 and 80 days bundle worth it? Looking at the reviews people seem to be pretty divided about sorcery

Sorcery games are amazing. The only criticism I'm aware of was that the first game is a little short, but that's mostly because you can take many paths and visit lots of different areas depending in your play through. It's worth replaying a couple times at least

Fishlabs took a huge hit with the failure of Galaxy on Fire Alliances if I recall. That might explain why they're not doing anything for now.

He was joking about the fact that even though he already owns both games the bundle still asks for USD 1.01. :p

Hmmm well obviously I'm wrong there then. Maybe it uses the price you paid for the individual titles and tops you up to the total of the bundle, regardless of the current cost of previously purchased and outstanding individual titles?

That could be the case! I paid the standard price for Jungle Run years ago but only paid $0.99 for Fiesta Run. But still, that behavior should be fixed, because people could literally give away money.

I stopped playing iOS games for a year because of an accident with my iPad 2 and got a hand-me-down iPhone 4. Any games TN at came out this year that I should keep an eye on? I already own Ace Attorney 5 for 3DS so you can skip that!

They tried to chase the f2p market. Look where that got them

There is certainly a very steep learning curve in making F2P work, not to mention the landscape is constantly changing.

That being said, the App Store is a harsh mistress no matter which product model you pursue.

looking through my ios wishlist that i started years ago and its always a shame to see games that dont get updated to new ios versions, seen a few that havent been updated since 2012 and 2011, one game since 2009.

(Posting this here since the MiFi controller thread seems kinda barren.)

I have some iPhone/iPad games that allow the user of those MiFi controllers, anyone here have any specific suggestions as to which is the best to buy?

I use the 5s leather case, so I'm guessing those ones that have the iPhone "snap" in the center of it wouldn't work so I'd probably need one that's just a controller?

(Or if there was one that worked w/ a case, I'd need it to go back to a "normal" form so I could use it on the iPad.)

More people need to play Plunder Pirates, its actually really fun. Trying to get a guild hall sorted.

Didn't think I'd get addicted to one of these types of games but the pirate motif and nice graphics make me feel differently about this game.

Game kept crashing on me at certain point in the tutorial. I restarted my phone, and now the game won't even start.

Noticed something cool. Edge and Edge Extended support Iphone 6 resolution without ever being updated to support it (it was last updated in November last year). I even took a screenshot to make sure - pixel perfect visuals with no upscale blur whatsoever.

post metal update, asphalt 8 runs a bit better, but still not perfectly smooth on ipad mini retina.

modern combat 5 framerate is garbage for a shooter.

I remember when that series was a near 60fps :(

The Moga Rebel fits right into your use cases. At $80, it's not cheap though :-(

Plunder Pirates doesn't even load on my iPhone 6. It gets to the first loading screen and does nothing. Deleted.

I stopped gaming on iOS a while ago, but the iPhone 6 Plus has made it fun again.

With the huge screen, virtual gamepad controls almost feel as comfortable as an actual handheld.

There have been a lot of server issues over the past few days. I've been playing quite a bit over the weekend (when I can actually log on or without freezing) and enjoy it, despite never getting into Clash of Clans. My Guild Hall should finally be built in the next hour so can join with whoever is playing.

Meh. I downloaded it, started it and enjoyed it initially. But now, I log in, claim more cash and grog than I can hold, go to expand my storage so I can hold more, and then.... That's it for 20 minutes, cos you can only build or upgrade two things at a time because builders huts cost premium cash that I'm not going to pay for. So I think, right, let's go sailing. Oh wait I've uncovered all the land I can, so I'll need to upgrade my bo...oh wait, I can't right now. So maybe I'll do some fighting. But I have no crew, so I'll have to wait for them to be recruited. But even if I bother with that, I either get my ass kicked because my crew are weak as shit, or the rewards are fucking worthless. Fuck it. Deleted.

Had a similar experience at first but I stuck with it. It's of course not a game you play constantly unless you fork out some $. That said I had no trouble saving up premium gems for a third builders hut. I also started out upgrading my resource gathering buildings to max before anything else and now I got currency raining in allowing me to upgrade other things easily.
