A blue special weapon engram decrypted into the Legendary Shotgun "The Comedian" for me .. what. This has never happened to me so far.

Lilely just coincidence, but I want to believe Bungie stealth buffed the Cryptarch.

Purples often come from blue engrams. Not for me, but for my wife all the God damn time...

oh really, 2 legendary engrams turned into a blue and green gun. im level 24 with not 1 legendary fuck this loot system.

I wonder how that hawkmoon stacks up against "The devil you know" Im a handcannon guy and I want them all.
I could tell you, but I am a non-objective source.
lololol

And it's the helm I really want for my Titan, too.

Legendaries/Exotics for a different class? GTFO, Bungie. If I wanted to play a different class, I would have chosen it at the beginning of the game. I hate this "it'll encourage you to run through the game again" bullshit.

Game is absolutely dying for a Consumable transmute item. 10000 glimmer per piece. Choose the stats/upgrades of one item and the look of another. Bam.

Just got my first exotic bounty. Which one should I pick?:

Toland's Legacy (Bad Juju - Pulse Rifle - I have heard bad things about this)
A Voice in the Wilderness (Super Good Advice - Machine Gun)
Shattered Memory Fragment (Pocket Infinity - Fusion Rifle)

I say machine gun but I like machine guns.

Do you like Fusion Rifles?

If not, why are you wrong about Fusion Rifles?

IIRC they recently said they're going to tweak exotic weapons to make them feel more powerful. Go with whatever weapon type you prefer.

Leveled up the cryptarch and expected blues...4 legendary engrams :o

In the vault you go.

I really wish you could transmog in this game.

I'm unclear on how the loot cave works. For the new one, do I launch the devils lair strike and just walk over to the area and start shooting into the room?

God-fucking-dammit.

I get a Queen's Mission, start it, it's the Earth Mission. Awesome. I've just spawned and a public event begins: double awesome.

Right as the third Skiff is incoming: Leopard error.

God-fucking-dammit Bungie. Fuck.

Yup, fucked up. Today was good though since my legendary turned into an exotic. Just one I didn't need for my Titan since I already have an exotic chest piece.

Meh, with the lack of diverse and abundant armor designs in favor of "re-color this one, stamp that one" I don't find it surprising at all that so many guardians look similar or even identical.
I feel like I was the only Hunter dumb enough to spend 25 motes of light on the coyote cloak. Are there more of us out there?! IS THERE HOPE?!

Pocket Infinity.

Based Bungie

There's the new sound I'm setting my alarm to play when it goes off in the morning.

From that gif posted a few pages back, get yourself that damn Pocket Infinity! Bad juju is ok against trash mobs with the auto reload on kill and it looks bad ass with the bones and the glow but eh, not good in PVP and not really good against bosses/tougher enemies in PVE. No opinion on the Super Good Advice as I've not used it.

After doing a lot of testing with my friends, I think we are on to something here. The emblems the speaker sells may contain hidden buffs and these are the approximations of what we think they do after a bunch of testing and positive results. however, this could be a wild goose chase... so BUYER BEWARE

Blessing of IV Higher loot/glimmer when opening chests

Blessing of the Ancients Higher chance of drops/glimmer from majors or ultras (w/ glimmer consumable applied for glimmer)

Blessing of the Gifted Higher drop rate/cryptarch conversion chance

Blessing of the Joined Higher drop/glimmer chance when in a group (w/ glimmer consumable applied for glimmer)

Blessing of the Knight Higher drop/glimmer chance from Hive (w/ glimmer consumable applied for glimmer)

Blessing of the Sentinel Higher drop/glimmer chance from Vex (w/ glimmer consumable applied for glimmer)

Blessing of the Skeptic Higher loot chance on end game rolls

Blessing of the Speaker Higher drop/glimmer chance the higher light level you are (w/ glimmer consumable applied for glimmer)

Blessing of the Unmade Chance for more Mats when dismantling

Blessing of the Watcher Higher drop/glimmer chance when using your super (w/ glimmer consumable applied for glimmer)

Blessing of the Zealot Higher drop/glimmer chance from The Fallen (w/ glimmer consumable applied for glimmer)

Blessing of Worlds Chance of more materials looted in game

Edit: Right now most of this is Theory but i have tested Blessing of the Gifted myself and my drop rates definitely increased, not to mention 2 out of 10 legendary engrams have turned exotic for me. This post is more of a recruitment. I need help proving these. but my friends and i have definitely tested Gifted and IV with positive results. Please post if you can confirm that you experience gains in loot/glimmer/rep/exp with any of these equipped. Thanks for your assistance in advance!

We are also trying to confirm if Headshot kills specifically give a higher loot drop chance

Edit: So, after a few comments I'd figure I need to explain my thought process behind this a bit more. Motes of Light: a rare currency that is used to purchase legendary and exotic items from select vendors, so why would emblems specifically called Blessings cost Motes vs. the rest of the vendors requiring rep lvl and glimmer? Well a blessing suggests that it could have a buff (however hidden from us) attached to it and the additional expense of motes implies that these emblems are worth more, but why would they be worth more if they didn't have some effect? Maybe it is coincidence, and we are digging to far into it maybe it is legit, but we can't be sure if we don't try in the 1st place right!? Do the other legendary emblems have effects or is it limited to just the speaker sold ones? I honestly have no clue, It is possible, but on the other side, it is a game based on a ton of randomness, it could just be coincidental. Finally, it's Bungie and they love putting hidden (almost scavenger hunts) in games in places that we would never expect. So remember, BUYER BEWARE.

Are Exotic Bounties just random?
The best kind of random

completely random
I've gotten 4. The bounty tracker bot fucking loves me.
I'm unclear on how the loot cave works. For the new one, do I launch the devils liar strike and just walk over to the area and start shooting into the room?
I think the most important thing to do is get your hopes up really high so that you can be sufficiently disappointed when nothing notable drops

You're in luck. The Comedian seems good. It's been killing me a lot in pvp.

So, I have an hour, anyone want to attempt the Nightfall? Add me: Cosmic_Onion. I have a mic this time :p

It can be done in under an hour right?

Thats the only speaker item worth it IMHO. Killer cloak!

Titans get a lame piece of fabric hanging from the belt with bad designs... :(

need to level my hunter for fashion reasons.

Hawkian what do you think? hawkmoon or the devil you know? Im loving the devil you know. Got it fully upgraded and its a nice gun IMO. But i want that hawkmoon and the last word, too. Are you a hawkmoon guy?

Got my sixth exotic bounty

I'm going after Super Good Advice, this time.
I'm one fusion rifle short of advancing the Pocket Infinity quest.

I want to say your chances of decrypting purple increases add you level up your light. I used to never get any legendaries at 24, not a single one like you. Ended up getting my first legendaries from the vendors and an exotic from Xur. Got to level 26 and decrypted my first legendary into a legendary chest. Now I'm level 28 and feel as though well over half my purple engrams decrypt info purple items.
