Shit I got next. That's the only volume I'm missing.

Teaser for Kotobukiya's Carnage.

JC's insane generosity is a beacon of comicsGAF. You all should strive to be more like him, dude giving away an Uncanny Avengers volume 4 code like that. Damn.

ComicsGAF is incredibly generous. Korupt gave me all of Superior Spider-Man. Bii gives me Daredevil monthly. Cheska gave me uncanny Avengers trade codes. People are always giving shit away.

I didn't finish the series but I believe they gave Flash a female sidekick with a symbiote

Seems like she just disappeared when the series ended though

Nope. According to Wikipedia, it was the Family Feud storyline...
It is later discovered that, although Kasady was presumably killed, the symbiote survived by becoming dormant and returned to Earth. The Doppelganger and Shriek return, hoping to repair the symbiote. Using the properties of the symbiote, Michael Hall, a competitor of Tony Stark, creates prosthetic limbs and exo-suits which respond in the same ways as a symbiote. One such person, Dr. Tanis Nieves, is outfitted with one of these prosthetic arms after she is caught in an attack by the Doppelganger. When near the symbiote, her arm goes wild and forces her to kill several scientists before the symbiote forcefully bonds to her, becoming the new Carnage.

If it's not a preview for the Rafa/Kipp comic, I will be severely disappointed.

I'm really tempted to post a little preview just for you, but as the first installment is only two pages, posting a preview wouldn't really work. Haha.
You'll just have to wait until these two pages are finished. :P

If it makes you feel better, I've worked on it for like 12 hours just today and yesterday. I accidentally drew like 30 minutes worth of final inks on the same layer as the rough pencils though, so I need to be done for the day.

The good news is that I've been picking up the pace a little bit, so even though it'll still take an absurdly long time for me to finish "just" two pages, it'll be a little less time than I would've guessed as of yesterday.

All this drawing is getting in the way of my comics reading. I think in the past few days, the only comics I've read are like two issues of Elephantmen. Maybe I'll start reading the God Hates Astronauts TPB today.

If you don't like this, you are dead to me. :D

Read the two comics I have that I didn't get to from September.

Cyclops #4 - Pretty good. Was not quite as great as the third issue but was still pretty decent. I like the father/son aspect of it but there really doesn't seem to be much of a central plot as of yet. I'm going to go pick up #5 tomorrow.

Legendary Star Lord #3 - Best issue yet. I'm enjoying the story and the writing is good. I've liked Medina's stuff in the past and sometimes his stuff for LSL is great, sometimes not so much. Consistency in faces are sometimes an issue. Star Lord's look varies quite a bit to me. And not in a good way. Some funny parts certainly raise it up past Cyclops for me. Central plot is certainly kicking up as well.

I've got Marvel digital codes for both and can give to first person to ask.

EDIT: And they're gone. Sorry everyone!

Could I get Star-Lord?

EDIT: Star Lord's taken. So whoever wants Cyclops #4

I'll take Cyclops if you don't mind

Hey that's a retcon. In gen x it was established she slept in the nude

Yeah but this is much cuter

I gave up on Darwyn Cooke's Spirit vol 1 hardcover, loved the art but the story wasn't keeping me interested. Switched back over to Prophet vol 1 after i stopped reading it awhile back after 10 pages
i remember putting it down when the alien creature wanted to mate with the John, not because i hated it, but it just seemed like a good time for a break
. About halfway through the trade now and i'm liking it a lot, weird but good.

I felt pretty much the same way about Prophet vol 1. The first issue did nothing for me, but then halfway through the trade I was really digging it. And now I've got one or two issues left in the trade but I haven't picked it up in a while. I also have volumes 2 and 3 because I decided I needed all the trades at once even though I hadn't read any Prophet before. I'm sure I'll read them eventually, I just don't have any desire to read them right now.

Well, he has sex with a scale woman in volume 2. Enjoy!

So I just read Uncanny Avengers 6, the one that's almost entirely about Thor before he got Mjolnir and him fighting Apocalypse. Back in oldey times. Are there any other Thor comics like that? I really liked it, and I'm not usually that big of a Thor guy. But any other comics with that same kind of tone and setting?

Stopped by the LCS today and grabbed New Avengers #24, G.I. Joe #1, and JL3K #8+9 so I can catch up immediately when the trade comes out in 2 weeks.

Kinda can't believe scans_daily is still a thing in the age of tumblr but then again my school still has a livejournal page that people post on every few months

Thor: Son of Asgard is kinda like this

The first big arc of Thor: God of Thunder is only 1/3 like that, but you should read it anyways cuz it owns bones
