I have not, but ComicsGAF has shown me plenty examples of his work. He makes my decision to not invest in the Marvel universe an easier one.
 
So I figured I should amend my avatar again for Halloween, after my She-Hulk'd avatar went down so well. I came up with three variations: Ghost Lucky, Lucky dressed up as Nick Fury and Lucky as Frankenstein's Monster. Which should I use?

Combine the Franken pooch from three with the patch from two and the background of one.

Surely you've read some Marvel series though?
The Marvel U. isn't just Bendis, there's great series there by J. Hickman, Matt Fraction and Mark Waid to name a few.
 
Am I the only on here who doesn't hate Bendis. I read all of Uncanny X-Men vol 3 last night and in still waiting for the point that it apparently goes to shit. But I am really enjoying it. I think I like this set of characters more than All-New X-Men.

I loved All-New and Uncanny for a long time. I'm just bored at this point though.

I've been reading Bendis since Sam and Twitch. Yeah he has a style but I like it. Loving his X-Men work lately, ANXM and Uncanny are both a joy to read. It's all about the kids for me, he writes great confused kids.

I enjoy some of Bendis' series. I loved how he wrote Spidey in New Avengers for example.
Ultimate Spidey is also one of my fav. works from him.

CBS Orders Supergirl Series #1

Once the only network staying out of the whole new massive comic book TV show arena, CBS is going all in with a new Supergirl show - which they've given an official series commitment to, bypassing both the "in development" and "pilot" stage.

Supergirl, a new one hour drama, will come to us from Berlanti Productions (both Arrow and The Flash on The CW) in association with Warner Bros. Television. Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler (Chuck, No Ordinary Family) will serve as writers, while also serving as EPs alongside Sarah Schechter.

BENDIS is great but inconsistent . His new avengers run was great especially during dark reign. Book had a grey family quality it. Tho his avengers stuff kind of went off the rail date a whole.

Ultimate Spider-Man has been pretty good for a long time.

His street level stuff especially daredevil and Alias are really great.

I find most of his creative own stuff to be boring. He mostly has trouble with team books but All new x-men is p solid

Yup, his stuff with Osborne and the Sentry during Dark Reign was great, and I actually think he wrote some really nice moments with Bucky Cap too.

In terms of modern Marvel, nope. I think the only new Marvel I read in the last decade was Magneto Testament.

I've been highly tempted to read Hickman's FF run, but overall I've made the decision to not give myself a whole other universe that I might want to explore. I only have so much time, and I already spend a fortune on comics without having cracked open that universe. I've kinda been trying to winnow down my superhero comics to just a few standout DC books because the indie space has been so much more fulfilling, and there's a fucking ton to read.
 
OK, guys I ve told how my Daredevil OHC was seemingly stolen... Today I went to work and it was again there... Unwrapped, but with a 10€ note in the Inlay... Also, it is still in perfect condition. I have no idea who it was, because I was the last who went away on friday and were today the first one at work. Kinda strange O.o

At least they left you some money! You should offer more sacrifices and see if they leave more money

Yeah, I had this idea, too. I am just a little bit surprised since most of my coworker prefer franco-belgian comics and mangas. But maybe I converted someone with this :D

Hey everyone!
Since some people were discussing cons, I thought I'd share my experience with Edmonton Expo over the weekend.

In terms of artists, I got to meet Bruce Timm and Chip Zdarsky (Sex Ciminals). Timm was pleasant enough and I got him to do a drawing of Harley for me and sign my Batman: TAS DVD set. Chip was super cool, though and we chatted for a while about art, the show Hannibal, etc. He signed my volume 1 TPB and did a portrait of Susie for me.

I also got to meet Howard and Raj from Big Bang Theory as well as Mads Mikkelsen from Hannibal. All very nice. Finally, I was able to snag some old Batman issues I needed. I'm only like 5 issues in the 200's away from having every issue from 180-713 complete.

Overall, pretty great weekend.

IST finally shipped that last Hellboy! Hooray! Am I going to be the last one in here to get all their stuff from IST's moving sale? Anyway, hopefully I'll spend more of the next thread posting about reading comics rather than just waiting for them to show up!

They'll probably release this version in a deluxe edition or two down the line if you can wait for that.

Literally. She has seen some shit coming out of one person and going into another. I don't mean shit as the representative of stuff, I mean fecal matter. 2 Girls 1 cup is MILD compared to what ever she is seeing in that image.
 
I'm so dissappointed with these superheroes though. You're only supposed to get veneers on your upper 6 and whiten the rest. Who goes full horse mouth like that? Why would you want to look like Steve-o?
