Now we root for the Doyers
Sorry I have to quote this again, but I just realized you called my opinion a "dumb sports opinion" for claiming Barry wasn't a first ballot HOF. I'm not sure how I missed that, but lol factually he's not... in fact he's not even a 2nd ballot. He's going to struggle straight up to even get in.
i'm rooting for the dodgers to make it to the world series because i would like to attend a world series game in my lifetime... which i will go to this year if they make it!
i guess the angels could.... but something rubs me the wrong way about the angels and always has
You mean the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
It's more that you don't considered him one of the greats. Bonds is arguably the GOAT

Are you defending one cheater, while running down another?
Without the steroids he legitimately could've also been a top 10 type of guy.
—If Bonds had retired after the 1998 season, he would have done so with 99.6 career rWAR. This would rank him No. 32 all-time.
—If Bonds had retired after his age-27 season rather than signing with the San Francisco Giants, he would have done so with 50.1 career rWAR, more than 42 Hall of Fame position players.
—Bonds stole 340 bases through age 30; Derek Jeter has stolen 355 in his career.
—Through age 26, Bonds had 10.8 defensive WAR, more than any other outfielder in major league history other than Andruw Jones through that age.
—Between 1990 and 2004, Bonds was never lower than third in OPS, and he was third only three times.
—If you turned every home run Bonds ever hit into an out, his career on base percentage would be .384, the same as Alex Rodriguez's.
You bolded the 1st ballot part......
Either way nobody puts Barry in that as a serious conversation, his legacy is sincerely tainted. I agree his stats are staggering, in an era absolutely proven to have been massively tarnished by steroids. What he did with steroids? That was more than anybody else on steroids has ever done. Without the steroids he legitimately could've also been a top 10 type of guy. That being said, nobody has any respect for this guy, and the MLB is doing what they can to keep it that way.
Quarterback Matt Stafford completed 24 of 34 throws, but just two to Calvin Johnson, who was hampered by a sore ankle. So Stafford is learning to spread the ball around, and Johnson's ankle should be better; it's win-win.
Detroit, meanwhile, might quietly be one of the best teams in the NFC.
He was already one the greatest players of all time before 98 anyways, and there were no real rules on steroids at the time, unlike the rules against spying on other teams that propelled your favorite joke of a system QB to 3 undeserved super bowls and probably a completely undeserved spot in the Hall of Fame. Only the crotchety old media types have no respect for Bonds. And we know how intellectually honest those types are.
So much salt lol.He was already one the greatest players of all time before 98 anyways, and there were no real rules on steroids at the time, unlike the rules against spying on other teams that propelled your favorite joke of a system QB to 3 undeserved super bowls and probably a completely undeserved spot in the Hall of Fame. I always view Tate as a poor man's Steve Smith. That short receiver that can go get a jump ball and has strength to him.
I mean I barely knew who he was until that famous ref lockout game, considering most looked at him as a major disappointment at the time. I still don't really get what his strengths are, he just never really flashed to me. The highlights from this past lions game were damn impressive, he looked ridiculous after the catch, not sure if that's his thing.
Lol wow you are so mad, struck a nerve there. Prior to 07 there were no rules against taping other teams signals bud. Deal with it.
edit- also hilarious undeserved spot in the hall. Post spygate alone is almost enough to get Tom in the hall. His stats are staggering, with 2 MVP awards as well.
Damn one mention of Brady and you have to scramble to defend your precious system QB
But the bolded part is definitely not true.

He's the sure handed WR you go to on 3rd down because he won't drop the fucking ball, and probably can squeeze an extra 3-5 yard on any given play.
Lakers, Dodgers, UCLA Bruins & Titans fan hereYeah....been a dolphins fan since I was 5 or 6..don't even remember and grew up watching lakers with my dad, those are the only two teams I root for though, might start following hockey though last years finals were amazing.
I'm making the point that regardless of your thoughts on spygate, and you all know my stance, call it bias if you want, but the point was is that when you're caught and it affects your legacy, it shows. Jabbee was hoping for some magical "reopen the case and uncover the dirt!" scenario, as if there really is anything to uncover. It doesn't make a damn bit of difference in the end. Tom and bill will be first ballot top of their class HOFers. They already have cemented their legacy as some of the greatest to have ever played/coached.
I'm so hyped for the O's games, except they're so fucking early in the day out here, plus I have massive projects going live at work right now, I'm missing the first two games for sure, probably third too. I mean 9AM Friday morning game? I'm getting fucked. O's better win some games. Eleven would be great.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Brady and he cheat. No SBs without camera assistance is glaring. I bet that there will be people in the room that mention that. Hell Parcells didn't even get in on the first ballot and he is a much better coach then the cheat, and he isn't tainted by spygate.
PITTSBURGH -- Bill Cowher has a message for Pittsburgh Steelers fans who think their team was cheated out of a trip to the Super Bowl 10 years ago: Get over it.
The Steelers were drummed by New England, 41-27, in the 2004 AFC Championship Game at Heinz field, a loss that came under suspicion a couple of years later when the Patriots were caught trying to steal signals and formations by illegally videotaping opposing teams.
We didnt lose the game because of any 'Spygate,' because of them having any additional things, Cowher told 93.7 The Fan on Wednesday. [If] theyre guilty of anything theyre guilty of arrogance because they were told not to do something but it was something everybody does. They got caught doing it with a camera.
Cowher, who coached the Steelers from 1992-2006, said what the Patriots did happened regularly in the NFL before the league allowed coordinators to relay plays to their quarterback and defensive signal-caller via a helmet radio.
Only way he gets a job coaching I the future is is he tows the nfl company line about SpygateBut what does he know.

I really doubt Bill Cowher wants back into coaching
Honestly, neither does Jon Gruden. Yet people still talk about it. Hilariously they both supposedly have nearly identical terms to coming back to coach. Basically, the team would have to be Super Bowl bound!
