Cameron Esposito needs to be on more earwolf podcasts. Never head of her before cbb today but she was great.

Not a big fan of JW Stillwater. I think he would have been best as a one-off.

EDIT: Okay, I hadn't finished the episode yet, and the last 20-30 minutes are amazing.

Enjoyed last episode of CBB. Got some weird looks on the commute when I laughed out loud when the Sandfinger theme turned into the cantina song...

Over the last few months I've caught up with it. I had only listened to HDTGM and when I had caught up with that I made my way through CBB (not all 300+ eps but those with guests I knew).

It only took me about 7 months to get through all of CBB to date (as of last summer). Do it.

Really good ep! I thought they were better this time then last.

Both episodes have resulted in insane confessions/stories. I remember Stephanie in the last episode telling a story where she almost let a man die because she didn't want to leave her spot on the treadmill and Erin admitted she gets turned on by shame.

This episode someone (I can't remember who) said she was almost raped as a minor.

Pretty dark stuff. :S

Yeah I was shocked that whoever it was would share that story where she was almost raped as a minor. Very personal story lol.

The Hollywood Handbook episode with the birthday boys was great. Mike Hanford is quickly becoming one of my favorite comedians.

I've been working my way through early episodes of the show but the birthday boys being on was a good excuse to check in with the current episodes. so good. looking forward to Butt Hanford's comedy career!

cody just had to put the button on it

Joe Wengert is amazing. I feel like he never gets enough credit.

I love how he always does a new character. And they're always awesome.

The line about spinning a pizza on his finger that had Scott cracking up was great. Haven't heard Scott break down laughing like that in a while.

I've really liked exactly one character of his, the Ross's guy. others have been bad to okay. this weeks was just okay.

He's never too bad, just feels like he builds on a character's joke uninterestingly. This sandwich guy could've become weird and obtusely hilarious, but it never got very far from the premise.

C'mon, you're telling me you didn't enjoy real man Brad Hammerstone?

Wengert's best charac is still the cold reader who only sees old pop culture events in his visions.

YESSSS. This character must come back. So fucking funny. It was crazy that the only communication that the spirits wanted was to know whether or not their loved ones have seen shows and movies from the 90's.

Any chance someone has an episode number for this one? Sounds funny!

210

it's also got the amazing lauren lapkus, it's one of my favorite episodes.

Fuuuck yes lapkus!

Thanks bread!

Also, I'm trying to think of what eps are going to make it onto the end of the year best ofs and I'm having difficulty. What do you guys think were the best eps this year so far?

Oh sweet.

Hopefully an Andy Daly PPP-style show. That would be great.

I think that's what it's sounding like. Hopefully she's not just confined to Rearden. Although that's my favorite character of hers, I'd love to hear them all. Seems Earwolf really loves Lauren and for good reason. She's on so many improv4human and CBB episodes. I wish her new series (Buzzy's) looked more promising.

So yeah, we'll hopefully have this new Lapkus show and a Wompler/Listler show. Some of my favorites on Earwolf. :D Earwolf has given me so much free entertainment, I really need to like buy a god damn T-shirt or something.

I've contemplated donating on several occasions, but I've never pulled the trigger.

the only reason I have any vested interesting in Jurassic World being good is that it could possibly put more Lapkus on screens.

Could the Wompler/Listler and Lapkus shows be related possibly? Or maybe Earwolf is just aiming to have more of these character-led podcasts like ADPPP or Affirmation Nation 2.0.

Yeah, they could be related. I hope they're related!

Jesus.

CBB, UTU2TM, and I4H all in one day!

Awesome effort, Earwolf! C+

OMG OMG OMG OMGOMGOMGOGMGOMOGMGOMGMOMOG!

And Reggie getting on mic instead of leaving after his intro!

Paul Scheer and Nick Kroll are recording a podcast too (with Nick as Sly) and they were asking for questions, like the Wompler/Listler, so there might be a relation within all three. A podcast composed of character subpodcasts?

I just can't get into CBB.. I love everything else by Earwolf, but I just don't find this podcast funny. What are the funniest episodes that might change my mind?

Any episode with Andy Samberg, Adam Scott, Ben Schwartz, or Lauren Lapkus is guaranteed to be good.

Can anyone remember the Improv4humans ep where a women describes how she and her sister needed to frost a cake for their father's b-day and the decided to each frost half of it and meet in the middle. But then since it looked so shitty they got in a fight and had a cake fight. And then when their dad got home he had to talk to them about fighting even though they were adults at that point.

Hey Mac, I know this might be a little late but I remember this episode because I saw it live at the Del Close Marathon :D

It should be this one, if not the episode before it:

I think it's about time for Earwolf to get a new engineer cody.

Because Engineer Cody Cody is just a complete fuckup. Certainly there are plenty of engineers cody out there looking for work who would gladly put American Horror Story on hold in order to get to work on time.
