I fucking love Scott, he probably dragged Scott to the studio to do this asap for the fans. You Scottbots probably wouldn't know about that, it's clear that you need to switch sides and become a Scottboy.

Can anyone remember the Improv4humans ep where a women describes how she and her sister needed to frost a cake for their father's b-day and the decided to each frost half of it and meet in the middle. But then since it looked so shitty they got in a fight and had a cake fight. And then when their dad got home he had to talk to them about fighting even though they were adults at that point.

I thought I listened to every I4H, but I can't remember that one. I'm also curious.

EDIT: Btw, Traci Reardon tweeting gold.

The first segment of the show this week sounded a little rough to me, like Scott didn't really know what direction to take the show in, but after the first break it was a really good ep!

Is anyone able to listen to the latest How Did This Get Made at the moment? I was halfway through listening to it earlier today, but when I tried to resume it just now Instacast would only give me silence.

Streaming the podcast from the Earwolf website gives me the same, as does downloading it, and the same for iTunes.

Have they had to nuke it for legal reasons?

EDIT: Nevermind, it's working again. Weird.

I liked how Horatio stopped giving a fuck in the last third. The show is great when Scott struggles to keep the show going. Snakes on a plate and him randomly googling giant penis killed me.

Honestly, that's why I'm not a fan of Horatio on CBB. He just doesn't give a shit. It's sort of funny at first, then it just gets irritating.

He's among my least favorite CBB guests.

I like some sort of continuity for the guest in an episode, like creating a back story or something. Horatio doesn't do that, he forgets his story 2 minutes after he makes it.

He is fun to listen to every now and then because he is clearly very talented with improv, but he needs a Benny Schwaz beside him to make the episode good.

Thought I'd pop in here to say that I recently discovered U Talkin' U2 to me... holy shit. I have never been so thoroughly entertained by a podcast before. Scott is a great host, Scott's anecdotes and huge tangents are hilarious, I enjoy Scott talking about my favorite band in the world all the while cracking wise and making jokes with age-appropriate humor.

Great show talking about high quality, uh, rock and roll.

My absolute favorite podcast. The chemistry between Scott and Scott is so good.

They promised to keep making more eps on the last podcast so we have more to look forward to!

^^^ Not only that, but I think I know what instruments they play.

Nice! I haven't listened to the SOI episode yet, up to NLoTH right now.

It's also been cool to sit down and focus on listening to an album/album(s) before I listen to the podcast where they talk about it. Don't do it as often as I should as a big fan of the band.

It's also gotten me into making custom playlists for albums too (Pop, mainly) which has been enjoyable as well.

Lol. I agree about Horatio. I just wish he stuck with it because hes always good initially. I swear, at some point in the latest episode, he was talking in his normal voice and pretty much forgot that he was supposed to be in character.

I do hope we see Dante the sound proofing guy return at some point. He was a great random guest.

So is it just about U2, or is just Scott and Adam Scott shooting the shit?

That's fair but I like when he kneecaps the character by avoiding the obvious and has to struggle to make it work. It's rarely consistent or logical but the ridiculousness makes it up for me.

Did anyone listen to this weeks Who Charted podcast? Howard Kremer was talking about how he was a voice actor in one of the Wing Commander games back in the '90s, and that he went to a party at Lord British's house. Though he couldn't actually pull the name Lord British from his memory. It is at around 28 minutes if anyone is interested, I thought it was pretty funny.

Just listened to that funnily enough. Hilarious. Everything he says is hilarious though.

Ha, great find.

I've always loved Ducca on CBB but never went through Affirmation Nation (despite a ton of the episodes being like 3 minutes long, iirc). assuming it would be easy to jump in here, yeah?

I think the point of the reboot is that the old Ducca eps are just him talking for like 2 minutes with out a guest or story. They mostly are lists. It's kind of hard to listen to many in a row.

As mac said, prior to season 2 it was just the life and times of Boooooooob Ducca. There wasn't an arc that ran through them all. The new episode is as good a place to jump in as anywhere.

I think Bob works best when he's part of a larger episode so that there is some build up before he brings the funny. The new episode is a better fit for him.
