Would like them to be ported into Unreal Engine 4, improved lighting would be awesome.
Man, the idea of playing GOW1-3, preferably all with GOW3's movement and playstyle would be nuts. It would be more of a true collection if they all played like each respective game's playstyle, but there's no way in hell that I could go back to GOW2's slow-as-molasses movement. I played it from launch till GOW3's launch, but it's the worst playing Gears in my book. Best maps and the most maps out of them all, but boy was it the worst for me.
Playing on GOW2 maps with the GOW3 style would be heaven.
Another thing that I hope will happen if it does happen is that they make sure that all of the MP characters are in there too. GOW3 definitely nailed it with the tons of characters you could choose, which is one of the things l loved the most about the game. They left out certain characters though, like Skorge and a couple other Locusts though, and OG Hoffman for example.
I expect this to happen, especially with MCC being their own initiative and also owned by them, but buying the rights to Gears would kind of imply that they own everything to do with Gears regardless. It's not like it was bought just for a remaster, and I don't think they would've bought the IP without owning everything to it.

I imagine they'd put the MCC guys on it.
The Master Chief Collection was made by three studios (Ruffian, Saber Interactive and Certain Affinity).
I'm sure they would be able to figure something out for Gears.

An announcement like this would be reserved for an event like E3 or VGA maybe. Not expecting to hear much until then.

This will undoubtedly happen, but I wonder whether it will be a few months before Gears 4, or whether they'll put it out as a standalone tentpole release a la Halo MCC. I would guess Saber and Certain Affinity will move on to this after Halo MCC launches, as there are no more Halo games to remaster now, so I would guess MGS' attention will shift to Gears.

I bought all the Gears when I bought a 360, it's what had me most interested in the console. Alas I know no one on the platform so I had no choice but to play with the AI partner. However a few chapters in when you get to a level in, which going into darkness gets you insta-killed by bat-things, Dom just keeps running into this one spot obsessively and gets killed by them.
There is nothing I can do about it, I played the section 10 times and it never changes. I literally cannot proceed. Ultimately killed my interest in playing the sequels.
So ultimately a collection on One interests me as I never played my 360 copies.

I'm all for that type of stuff. I thought the Mass Effect/Dragon Age crossover armor stuff they had going on was fun.

That's an odd glitch and I've never gotten that before. You're in for a treat if you're going to be playing Gears 3 for the first time on Xbone...the game looks and plays the best in the series.

Puting all the mp maps from all 3 games in the gears3 engine would be a dream come true for me. Gears3 mp was my game of the generation. Sank 1000's of hours into it. I'm totally convinced that Black Tusk are working on it as we speak.

You know one thing I'd like to applaud Epic for is their handling of women in the Gears franchise. Its a hardcore gory shooter and yet the women are treated exactly like the men.
so much so that my wife who barely plays games got very invested in Gears 3 to the point she got the Onyx medal for all Horde modes. She loved playing as a female badass chainsawing through enemies.

I bought the gears 3 collectors edition and the gears 3 console and I will do it again if they release this!
Than why would you buy a PS4 if all you need is Gears? Wouldn't the current 360 versions still satisfy you?

Yeah my wife is not the hardcore gamer at all. In fact her favorite games are things like Dance Central.
She used to watch me play Gears 1 and 2 and didn't think anything of it but when she watched me play Gears 3 with major playable female characters she suddenly asked to play co op with me one day. She got completely hooked and to this day asks me constantly when there will be a new Gears game coming out. I find that pretty incredible and shows how important having strong female leads is in gaming.

Give me Gears 1 with dedicated servers and the slide glitch and I am there.
Never heard of such a glitch, and I've beaten all 4 Gears games 100% complete.
Did you ever try choosing whichever that chapter was from the beginning instead of just reloading the checkpoint? That should probably fix that.

As someone who went PS3 only last gen, and picked up an Xbox One earlier this year, I'd love this. Hear great things about the Gears series so I would like to play them myself.
