I don't know where it fits into whatever you've got going on here, but Drake has said publicly over and over that Phonte is one of his biggest influences as an MC.Hey Esch, thoughts on 9th Wonder saying Drake told him that Phonte birthed his style?

Yes, because Who Will Survive In America is the perfect transition to On Sight.

speaking of Ye's next album, this tweet has me thinking: https://twitter.com/DragonflyJonez/status/523250424904974336
using this line of thought, what if Bound 2 serves as the transition to this new album?

Bound 2 was supposed to be the opener of Yeezus fyi
srs
I can't remember where I read it but I remember Kanye saying that he opens his albums a certain way or something and that if he had opened Yeezus like he traditionally does then Bound 2 would have been the first song.
wait, I thought BOTL was originally gonna be first? so confused right now.

i may have confused the two
my point was that On Sight wasn't supposed to be first lol
so glad it wasn't - you'd kick the doors in with the best track that way, would've made the rest of it kinda fall flat in comparison
GRoDT such a good album. Going back to it and listening to the hooks on this CD.. Whew.
MURDAAAAAAA. I DON'T BELIEVE YOU.
I just revisited it the other day as well, yeah great fucking album. Back down still makes me want to go smash someone's head in.

Great album
Eminem has the strongest guest verse
Many Men is still one of the realest songs

Hey bb, stay posi.Who cares. Rap sucks, and we're all going to die.
Eminem fell off after Infinite

Well, Bound 2 might fall in line with how some reports say a lot of the songs Ye is playing right now are a "throwback," which Bound 2 very much is. Still will probably have drums that pump a bit more.speaking of Ye's next album, this tweet has me thinking: https://twitter.com/DragonflyJonez/status/523250424904974336

Ye actually said explicitly, he knew people would fuck with the album more if he opened with that song as a bombastic jam, so he put the most abrasive, left field song first.so glad it wasn't - you'd kick the doors in with the best track that way, would've made the rest of it kinda fall flat in comparison

Terrible post.
Infinite Eminem was a shitty Illmatic monkey rhythm rapper flippy cover band. I don't like any era of his, but before he was molded by Iovine he had no song concepts, he was trash with no direction. Like Big L with no swag and none of the gawd-tier punchlines.
might as well listen to Canibus.
Blood On The Leaves is probably the 2nd worst song off of Yeezus after Bound 2 TBH.
