That would suck.
Most of Sony's characters aren't good fighting game material.
I think the real megaton would be if it stayed exclusive
they already announced SSFIV was coming to PS Now at E3. Why would they be so secretive about a native port?
Sony should money hatt Monster Hunter if they money hat anything from Capcom. I don't think either will happen either way, but you can bump this topic with the self pat on the back pic if it turns out you're right.![]()
When was the last time a major publisher exclusive stayed that way at least for that generation?
I was thinking about Metal Gear Solid IV. Even Steam didn't get a late port (for now ?).
.No way in hell.
No way Sony is paying enough to make up for lost revenues on Arcades, XB1 and PC
"timed console exclusive" - sure, there's a chance, but I frankly think only MS has the wallet to do it
Deep Down is enough for me. Just make sure it's actually good Ono plz.Nintendo and Capcom brought Tatsunoko vs Capcom. Sony shoud do something with Capcom too.
But Street Fighter 5 is impossible.
MS already has Killer Instinct which is um... tailored for their target audience.
Would be silly, IMO. Lots of money to be made across all platforms.Could capcom afford to have it on one platform?
One of my reasons for thinking this is the fact that KI will definitely be at EVO for a while and that is an XB1 exclusive I am sure Sony wants their machine represented with something exclusive at EVO as well. That hardcore community will buy thousands of machines for a single game. Yes they have GG but the SF,Smash and MK numbers will make those seem infinitesimal.
hadoken taxis
I would be utterly shocked if it didn't return. S2 is a massive upgrade, the Iron Galaxy guys have deep FGC connection, and they have the XB1s they need already.KI hasn't been confirmed for EVO 2015.
SF4 was a huge success for Capcom if you think it was considered a dead franchise. But Vanilla sold less than MK9 and Tekken 6.
I do not see it happening.
I do feel Sony could use an exclusive fighter though (with the competition having Killer Instinct and Smash), but hope they come with something new in that regard.
It would not be a smart move for Capcom. My stance on Ono's secret game has been that yes it is a fighting game but that it is actually Sony vs Capcom. It gets around the licensing issues the other VS games have had, it gives Sony an exclusive fighter to go against the exclusive fighters on both the Xbox and WiiU, and its a nod to players on the 20th anniversary of the playstation brand.
Now mind you this is based on nothing but me pulling ideas out of my ass, but a man can dream.
