If anything though, that creates the community "problem." If a thread belongs in community, it should start there. If people had to always go to community for all OTs, even new ones, then that would drive the traffic there all the time. It seems bizarre to me at all that anything on this site would need traffic though, isn't this by far the most visited gaming forum?

EDIT: Most of the latest GTA's is not allowed here because of hookers in the games. Same for the CoD's that has arabs in it as the antagonists. Spec Ops: The Line is obviously banned here.

Oh now I get it heh.
Yeah various games are banned on Steam, but the workaround is Amazon.com, etc.
Heck I got Bully and Spec Ops off of Amazon and they redeemed fine =)

I'm mostly bummed that our region doesn't have many Konami games here, namely Rocket Knight =_=

That and some EA games/bundles.
Latest CoD games show up in my region though (Oman), and heck even GMG lets me buy CoD as opposed to Bully and Spec Ops (not available in my region).
 
I think it's quite funny that despite me noticing that both Far Cry 4 and Unity had upped and done one of the UK Storefront 3 months ago that only just now are the press getting involved. In fact if PCGamesN hadn't published an article I very much doubt Eurogamer, CVG, RPS, Videogamer, MCV, Kotaku UK, VG24/7 or Digital Spy would had said anything about it. Yeah the games media are in perfect shape with the way the aggregate news from one another like some hideous media-centipede. They've had months to look into this but only when someone else does a bit of work do they all put something up.

Far Cry 4 is also that price.

I grabbed both a few months back from Indian Origin. Between that and DAI from Mexican Origin, I'm pretty sorted for the next 2 weeks.

Yeah it's pretty bloody sad. Investigative journalism barely exists within gaming media. The reliance on other gaming media or simply what is marketed to them has been really detrimental. GAF is best media, of course :P

Definitely. The game also unfolds in a relaxing enough way for me to maintain some decorum while I play. Even when I see doom approaching, I can say 'well played, computer'.

Crusader Kings 2 on the other hand... So much craziness that it is rarely quiet and civil.

The dream is for Steam to properly open up on Android, and for Binding of Isaac Rebirth to be on my Android phone so I can never get anything done for the rest of my life, and be happy about it

I'll be having dinner and won't be home for maybe an hour, for more hours of SMT4.

So yeah I know the feeling brah.
 
Edmund/Nicalis got me good. I thought BoI:R on PSN would be cross-buy and the PS+ freebie would net me a Vita version. Turns out it's not and now I'm sitting here trying to decide which version to get.

great, ran into a spot in Ghosts where the game always crashes to desktop, exact same spot 3 times in a row... guess im done with Ghosts? >_>

edit: changed settings to "optimal" which basically lowers a bunch of shit, still crashes. I dont think I cba to find out exactly what causes it tbh

I said it in the OT, but this game almost makes me want a Vita. I don't know any other games that have come out for it though.
 
Another day, another API change made by Valve. This morning, it seems that the market transaction rendering API is limited to 500 results now (it used to be 1000, and before that it was unlimited).

This affects Enhanced Steam's "market total" section which will now return all zeroes.

This will be fixed in the next release (most likely tomorrow afternoon)

I'm in the same position right now. I'm thinking of taking a late fee on some bills and just calling the lunch-time errands in favor of playing Isaac. Most expensive run to date.
 
welp apparently the Ghost crash is related to the latest(s) nvidia drivers, I would have to rollback to 344.11 for it to work (ton of ppl having the same problem), and I got no fucking clue how to do that

hmm can I just straight up google the specific driver and download it from nvidia? seems I can. I imagine I need to uninstall the current first tho

Remove new driver. Install old driver.

Finished Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishments. It's pretty good. Thinking about doing a short 4K run of some of environments and see if I can grab some nice shots. It looks surprisingly good in parts (and then kind of not good in some other parts).

It had a few good character designs and the skill mechanic for teaching humans from immortals was good... but the general, I'd probably lump it in with Legend of Dragoon.
