Yeah....this is a real bummer. It's been solid for many expansion launches. This is totally different from my experience, too.

"Locked" is annoying me.

It's a real bummer, though I am happy that it seems like a bunch of people are coming back.

Edit: Think it's starting to tinker out now, having some problems. I saw some stuff so that was good enough for me.

I'm on a high pop server. The quest popped up about 15 minutes before midnight. I managed to turn the quest in and tell him to port me, and the dialogue closed and nothing happened. Since then it lags out before it can load me into the game.

Gonna be here a while lol.

I resub every new expansion for a month or two, but this time I am strangely excited. Maybe because I decided to play my Priest from Vanilla again. After so many years the nostalgia is really kicking in.
I won't start playing today though, I rather wait until the masses subside a bit and play casually this weekend.

Well, today is only the 6th "day one" out of the ~3650 days WoW has been available. Day ones are only 0.164% percent of WoW's availability. Probably not cost effective to completely fix.

Was able to get on long enough to complete the Assault on the Dark Portal quest line. Loved it, but hearing players in 580 gear whine about everything being too easy is annoying. I'll play more after work.

Completed Shadowmonn Valley, what an amazing zone that was. Probably the most beautiful too. I'm 93 and have done everythign but I really don't wanna leave.
The whole xpac could take place there and I'd be happy.

Wow, WOW. I go to sleep at 5 am because questing in Shadowmoon Valley is just completely broken and nothing but frustrating. I log in 5½ hours later and it's only gotten worse. This is by far the worst expansion launch server issues I've seen.
