Maybe the click quests are some sort of social experiment Blizzard is trying. Look how these guys solved it:

Hey guys quick question: if I have a level 29 character, would it be worth it to pick up this expansion now? I know it comes with the level 90 boost, but I want to grind my way to level 90 so I can learn all the subtleties of my class. Would I see any benefit from buying it now, or would I be better off waiting until I hit level 90?

Just FYI, if you decide to use your lvl 90 boost on a 60+ lvl character, your professions (primary, secondary and first aid) will be boosted to 600.

If we'd tried that last night when I was there, the queue would probably have looped around the entire village three times.

I only got past it thanks to the server crashing and clearing out the crowd, and getting back to it before too many other people did.

It seems most people are having issues when on high pop realms, what about my bros on Doomhammer or Al'Akir (EU)? Smooth sailing?

Just because I haven't played in months:

I can just make a free lvl 90 only with the CE key I added today?

Doesn't matter if you buy the normal or c.e you can boost a level 90 character. You can even do it when you have a low level class to boost to 90 or start fresh.

Just a heads up, if you boost a level 60+ you also get a profession boost, meaning both of your professions will be taken to the max level (600, pre-WoD). If your character is below 60 you will not receive the profession boost.

Woot, that's amazing.

I might just boost my old Vanilla warrior then :)

Still using that horrible talent tree? Not interested. Really wish they hadn't done that.

Old one is even more horrible. This one is handy because you can choose what you want any given moment and learn to live with it the game is not the same any more as it was 10 years ago.

Maybe all of the server ques and login issues will make the old timers happy for once. Then they can revel in the days of "old" WoW when it didn't work as well as it usually does now! "Back in MY day!" and all of that....

J/K...........

I can't wait for both of my CE's to arrive. I took advantage of the Best Buy Gamer's Club Unlocked deal and forgot to cancel my Amazon order until Tuesday. It was too late. Damn.

Stormshield is way better then the Shrine atleast.

Agreed for the Horde-side Warspear. I kind of miss having all of the portals in a row, but I enjoy the aesthetics of the racial layouts and having the AH there is also a boon.

I can feel that the Garrison is going to suck me in and I love the changes to the quest looting & rares. No more rush tagging.

I barely touched Warspear in the beta, so I'm happy to hear people are digging it. "Losing" Bladespire was a bummer on the surface, but I don't see how the layout of that place would have been convenient at all as a faction hub, especially without flying mounts.

Hoping that when I get home from work at 5 the servers won't be hitting out then but 5 is prime time and there's a lot of other people who will log on around 5 so I imagine it's going to be just as worse as it was for me this morning at 6am. Only had an hour to play and only got a few quests done

Oh god damn, my CE has already been delivered. UPS usually doesn't get to my house until mid/late afternoon.

Now I'm stuck at work knowing that it's waiting for me. UPS trolled me by actually being expedient.

How is the lag, and is there lots of people playing? I play on a medium pop server, even with realm connected to mine, so I'm hoping its not so bad.

Man, I really want to play this. My CE is being shipped to my parents house, so I'll need to wait until it's delivered and they email me the code. I feel like I'm going to be missing out on the initial mining rush (I need more gold! I only have 20k left!), even though I'll more than likely going to have the code by this time tomorrow night.

Surprised to see Ashran has everything. they usually leave something out to make you go to Org, but I see everything here.

Though no Shatt/Dalaran portal. I wonder how we're supposed to get there now.

I can't wait to get home later today to play this. Feels like it was announced forever ago.

I just don't know what to level first. My monk, rogue, druid, warlock, mage, paladin, DK, or warrior. All DPS. I'm sort of going back and forth between my rogue and mage since they've basically been my mains, but I dont know.

Just finished the first zone and I gotta say, the introductions to the characters, the new models/animations are incredible. TBC is still my favorite expansion, I could only imagine how badass it would have been with the newer tech that's in the game right now. I smiled like a kid on Christmas through that whole zone.

Sucks for you guys on high pop servers, I didn't bother logging in until 9am and it's been smooth sailing ever since, no queue, no lag, just the same old WoW as yesterday.

I'm on Lightbringer and perf is much better now. I logged in and could finish the ravens+trees quest w/o grouping and no lag at all. Maybe its cause the horde of 3am launch players are in the next zone? LOL i'm okay with staying behind the wave.

Played a bit earlier with no issues at all and minimal queues even on my high pop server. Went out for 20 mins, came back logged back in to a 2000+ queue and a 90 minute wait. Guess thats it for me today.

Their servers are unable to keep up with the traffic. Game is probably doing really well sales wise. As I thought it would. But I wish I hadn't went day one on it. By far the laggiest expansion launch so far from my own experience.

Is there a portal to Pandaria's shrines? If so, you got your answer.

An outland portal in Draenor would clearly cause a cascading space/time event that would destroy the multiverse.

Somehow I found the Master Surveyor in the middle of 200 people on their mounts. My whole group got credit, /flex

on the other hand, the lag

I don't get it

I'm like, 10 hours late to the launch party

First part (near Dark Portal) was great

Now I'm in Frostfire Ridge and EVERYONE is stacked on these NPCs... what the fuck have they been doing for the past 10 hours? Also, why is Thrall IN THE AIR?

Jumped ship to XIV a long time ago, but I hope you guys enjoy it and never have to suffer a year long patch drought ever again.

Blizzard decided to instance the Garrison and add a couple "seamless" scenario quests into each zone. Guess what happens when everyone and their mother tries to get their own instance for a Garrison :d

no one has answered the most important question

WHY IS THRALL, IN THE FUCKING AIR
