Don't worry, he won't lose any sleep over it.

That, X2, Batman Begins and TDK are the most likely ones.
For people who don't like the Marvel Studios movies, what is your favorite super hero film or do you think one even exists?
Spider-Man 2 and Batman Begins. 2 movies filled with character development and thematic depth found in none of the Marvel Studios movies.
The correct answer is Blade.
I'm sure there are people that like Spiderman or Xmen or Batman and dont like the Marvel movies nearly as much.
2 years. Black Panther's gonna be in Captain America: Civil War and go head to head with Batman v Superman.
This. Paramount & Universal had no creative input whatsoever. It was always Marvel and Feige at the reins.
:3
The universe obviously.
Not kidding, that will be the endgame of Infinity War P2
You are mixing up Paramount and Universal. Also Disney bought Marvel barely a year after IM1 and TIH released (August 2009).
Can't wait for 4 years from now when Batman gets embarrassed by Black Panther.
I always forget you're one of them :c
Well, I've been on record as saying I've enjoyed some of their films. I'm not on the other side of the spectrum, despite what you are trying to paint. Calling me a "hater" is ridiculous. I'm calling this thread how I see it, it's pretty crap. Praising Marvel to high heavens has been getting tiresome regardless. They've made some good flicks, but they've made more mediocrity. As a whole, the universe is a cool concept that will be filled with ultimately unfulfilling films.Like clockwork.
Please, go on.

You mean like right at the beginning when Quill's mum died? Or at the end whenOr after thatRocket's crying over Groot and Drax just comes over and comforts him?with Awesome Mix Volume 2 and that letter from Quill's mum?
I always forget you're one of them :c
It took Marvel 5 years of marketing and a team up movie to beat Batman. No way BP does it by himself.
Those were all funny to me because of various things. You mean like right at the beginning when Quill's mum died? Or at the end whenOr after thatRocket's crying over Groot and Drax just comes over and comforts him?with Awesome Mix Volume 2 and that letter from Quill's mum?
Yea my bad. the point is still the same. Disney bought Iron Man after Paramount made it a success. They set the tone for the Iron Man movies and to most people made the best one. We are better served with Marvel Studios having to dig deep to find licenses for movies.
I am talking about character portrayal wise. You know what giants do.
Yes, because it's seeing the heroes (try) to face immeasurable odds and how they do it (success is a given)
Those were all funny to me because of various things.. Not that those couldn't be things other than funny, but even serious things are funny. Only gotg can make aKids bad acting and how he got into a fight over a frog and mom's stupid dialogue. Giant man petting a crying raccoon. The fact that he is using his mom's nickname for him as a kid. "my mom said it was cool, guys"hilarious lolwoman dying of cancer
A lot of the excitement for me is seeing the crazy ideas of guys like Ed Brubaker, Jack Kirby, Jim Starlin, etc. thrown up on the screen after all these years.
I could give a fuck about Marvel as a company. In fact, they have actively fucked over some of these individuals I admire. Steve Gerber and countless others.
It was nice of them to finally commit to helping Bill Mantlo after Rocket Racoon showed up in a film. That's something.

Bad analogy. Even if I did find it amusing, that wouldn't necessarily follow that I'd support animal abuse. My entertainment wouldn't prioritize over a living creatures livelihood .This reads as if you're for animal abuse.
"Haha, he squished the frog. F'ng hilarious."
My response is regarding his comments at the beginning of the movie, doesn't need a spoiler tag. Don't click his spoiler, has some later stuff.
the need to start making the villains interesting.
They don't love you, they love the money
Also horray for free advertising! You're working harder for them, than they for you

That moment when quillgives me goosebumps just thinking about it, such a powerful scene both visually and narratively.grabs the gem and start's hallucinating his mother
I concur, the shared movie universe has been great. Also the DC TV universe has also been really really great. It is a fantastic time to be a comic fan.
What a disservice to that trilogy.MCU is this generation's Star Wars.

I actually think Ben's going to do really well in that area. DC needs to what's right and adapt Batman and Son or just do a trilogy based off the God Morrison's run.
Man, I loved the visuals in that scene, especially theI don't know why, but that was one of my favourite visual moments.transition from hallucination to battle.
No, Star Wars is this generation's Star Wars. Just like it has been since the 80's.
See you got me wanting a Dick and Damon movie.
Get a clue. Generations from 90s forward don't give a rats ass about Star Wars. The whole connected universe is also something that has changed the game.
That's why I want Batman and Son. I want to see Dick, Damian, and Tim interact with each other.
