Keep the dream alive.

Thanks!Congrats man!
I don't get the crash hype... I played the games when I was a kid and I loved them but seriously... Of all the things you could wish for you want crash back?
The problem with an FF7 remake:
Situation 1: Remake identical to the first game with ONLY updated graphics. Combat/menu/gameplay/dialogue text (no voices) remains exactly the same
Result: People continue to complain about the randomized battles, turn system, etc. Also call them lazy for just changing the graphics and not putting in effort to revamp the game itself
Situation 2: Remake with a completely gameplay overhaul as well as a graphical one. Changing the nature of the gameplay requires completely redesigning certain areas.
Result: Nothing Square does will meet expectations people have, and people will blast the new choices.
There is almost no FF7 Remake that could possibly satisfy everyone, it would require walking an extremely thin line between tradition and modernization, and I have zero faith Square would be able to walk that line.
Maybe someone can help me find a commercial
There was this one commercial that was like 8 mins long and it was detailing the PS1 addons like the PS Mouse, memory card And the some other stuff. It was like something out of a Asian Kung Fu movie. It bugs me a lot
Why not both.gif ? It seems like they could include old school play styles as well as new updated modes.

I actually like FFXIII, so... yup! They certainly could.
The question is, does anyone trust today's Square Enix to pull that off?
Reposting my wild card prediction:
Sony announces new "Playstation Classics Line" going to revive old franchises as PSN games with indies on board. First game will be Crash with a trailer. Then a Powerpoint slide with a bunch of title cards with tentative dates next to them like "Winter 2015", "Spring 2016" etc. with the dev name next to them. Basically every 6 months or so releasing a small PSN title that is either a reboot or remake of old PS franchises.

That would be a neat idea. In the long run Sony can make the next ND with a bunch of these indies. My only worry is the cost of this and Crash deserves to be work on by the originators.

That would be grand, but there's about a 0% chance of that happening.Reposting my wild card prediction:

Hope you and your family have fun, you can probably coax Yoshida and Boyes into getting some serious Playstation swag and a picture with them with that story lol

#BringBackCrashSony
It worked with Ready at Dawn (started on PSP Daxter) and Double Helix (Killer Instinct)...I gotta imagine both companies have taken notice

What's the over/under for the amount of "I'm selling my PS4" threads we'll when there isn't a new Crash or FFVII remake announced after this event?

Crash pins, anyone?
Everyone going to the event should wear these just to put the heat on the Playstation guys!

One of the best candidates for an indie revival. I love those damn games. Also the happiest games ever made, hands down.
Oh... holy shit... Is it happening??
