CM Punk really hates being tapped on the back by people he doesn't know.

Tapped on the back = clubbed on the head.

Wow@ those sponsor stories. I would have been pissed if they fucked me over like that. Shit was just spiteful.

Fuck the E. Straight fuck 'em.

I don't know, I fucking hate being tapped on the back by people I don't know / don't know very well. It's just uncomfortable and can be quite alarming. I can see why people might respond in an abrupt fashion. I don't see what relevance the kid thing has because Miller isn't one.

My point is that it happened to Greg who just brushed it off, but what if it was some little kid that was a die hard fan and looked up to him. It could have been devastating.

Would he react the same way to a child doing something rude as he would to a grown man?

here, punk got slapped in the head

Guy in the grey sweater tried to push him down the steps a couple of times before that, IIRC this was the third time. Punk was definitely in the wrong here, not just because he retaliated against the wrong guy, but JEEEZUUUUS, what a dick.

What the fucking hell?

Jesus, what the fuck is wrong with wrestling fans? I don't even understand why people do all that grabby shit when they're walking by anyway, but dude straight gave him a shove and hid behind the other guy Punk slapped. :(

Punk was wrong, but seriously, people should stop doing this shit.

I don't agree. CM Punk reminds me of employees who must be let go because they're unable to be part of a team.

Personality-wise, to be friends with these people is a job in itself -- not fun.

Hmm.. I completely disagree. Remember that not all teams are good and sometimes "change" need to happen for improvement.

To me, everything that CM Punk said sounds very rational, he always speaks with "reason", which is very important, and those that did worked with him only talked about him positively. Some of my good friends are like CM Punk and we get along perfectly fine and have lots of fun together. Even Alberto Del Rio and Ziggler talks high positively about CM Punk. I hope you haven't forgotten the countless occasions where CM Punk tried hard and goes beyond the line in effort to to put other wrestlers on top the ladder, a ladder that the WWE execs only prefer to keep the elite favourites on (Randy Orton, etc). It's the Execs that says differently and when it comes to dealing with corporations like WWE combined with what other wrestlers say about the firm, I am not surprised. Though not as extreme, I can relate to CM Punk for I've seen madness in the corporations I've worked for too.

Common courtesy and respect comes a long way and CM Punk always demonstrated that. If people can't see that (like those that just shout out "HEY PUNK!" when they meet him for the first time) then don't be surprised if he doesn't treat you with the respect that you think you deserve.

Ever since CM Punk did that crap to Greg Miller from IGN a few months ago I cant take him seriously. I just think what if Greg was a younger kid and a true fan that would have been devastating.

I have a feeling that if a kid tapped him on the shoulder CM Punk wouldn't have been annoyed.

Yeah, it's such a nonsensical argument.

"Well, what if it was a 5 year old?!"

Uh, it wasn't. Pretty sure most kids wouldn't be tall enough to tap Punk on the shoulder.

I'm sorry Hunter never impressed me. Got to where he was by carrying HBK's, Hall's, and Nash's bags.

Then started banging the boss's daughter. I'm not saying he totally sucked, but they practically did everything but have him resurrect, and rekill jesus to get him over as "that damn good" it became ridiculous. I can see how someone like Punk would just tick him off. Ironic because it seems a guy like Punk had the same attitude that HBK, Hall, and Nash had back in the early mid 90s wwf when they started collaborating.

Unfortunately I think he currently lacks the ability to set aside his ego and do what is right for business.

Well, he's married into the family, so I think he got what he wanted ,which is now job security and potentially the heir to the business, because I don't see Shane stepping in or Steph to overtake Trips.

Oh no I know that hes around until his kids take over for him. I just mean Vince seems to be able to rehire anyone if its good for business. And I don't see Triple H doing that I mean look Vince hired back Hogan, Warrior, Bischoff, Lesnar, etc. They only 2 I think he never made up with were Macho and Jarrett.

Wow, this is the fucking easiest angle in the history of works. Vince McMahon in the ring with Paul and his doting wife, sitting down in a red matted ring to sign over the ownership of the company. Just as they are about to sign the papers...

HERE COMES THE MONAYYYYYYY

Then of course Shane some how botches the coast to coast garbage can drop kick.

That's a million dollar idea!!!!

Don't forget he was never taken seriously as the top guy till Foley almost killed himself in Street fights and HIAC matches to make HHH look like a badass.

Foley also bolstered Rock's career with the Rock n Sock Connection.

I know I mentioned mick foley a lot, but that's because the man is the reason why I watched wrestling.

I cannot tell a lie, Shane was badass and ballsy! Even Big Show gave Shane the thumbs-up on more than one occasion.

I've always had the theory that the people HHH has the biggest problems with (obviously taking dirtsheets with a truckload of salt), are the ones who are naturally popular wrestlers, because he never really has been. I've heard stuff about him and Jericho, Punk, Foley, all people who are naturally loved by the crowd. HHH has had some amazing matches to be sure, but he's not really on THAT special level, no matter how much WWE makes it out to be the case.

He actually came back "recently" (I cant remeber when) and attempted this and totally botched it. Dude has gray hair now and isn't as spry as this video thats for sure. It was funny watching the video and them trying to manipulate the camera angle to hide the botch.

Not at all truth. HHH has been one of the best in ring guys in the past 14 years in WWE. It's stupid that people buy into him getting where he got 100% based on HBK/Stephanie. He was supposed to get a huge push in 1996. Then got it in 1997, which carried through into 1998. He won his first title before he and Stephanie were even in the angle that ended up with them together in real life. He was a chosen one before Steph was even an on screen character.

He was so awesome that everyone stopped watching when he was on top.

I guess if you want to blame him for the world wide wrestling market dropping off in the early 2000s, you can. By the time he was truly the top guy, Austin and Rock were leaving, there was no competition and a sizable chunk of ECW/WCW fans never tuned back in, and then the brand split spread talent out.

Dude was lucky Punk isn't LA Park.

They both hit him.

Nah.. you can see the distance between the gray shirt guys hand and the sunglasses guys arm.. you can even see how far the shadow of the guys hand is on the other guys arm.

There are several inches between them, and that's at the point the sunglass guys arm would have been closest to Punks head.

It's just that the way Punk flinches makes it look like the guy hit him, as his flinch matches the arm movement coincidentally.

I think CM Punk would be nicer to a child or teen tapping him, instead of a grown ass adult who should know better.

Well, he didn't really have enough time to check if it was a kid or teen hitting him, so if it HAD been a kid or teen, I'm pretty sure they would have been hit in the face.

He got that push because he was was the on who set up the Montreal screwjob.
He was also the one who took the punishment for the curtain call, even though he wasn't responsible at all for it.

Vince owed him.
