The Game Awards 2014 Thread: Keighley unveils, less McHales

I'm starting to think it's impossible to make a good games award show or presentation.
I think it's possible, it's just that no one has figured out the formula yet. I think a major thing to drop is these "performance pieces" with the bands. Gamers for the most part want trailer after trailer and that doesn't really lend itself to a live show...
 
I've spent more time commenting on attractive men than talking about video games.

TGA is so uninteresting I'm questioning my sexuality.

You know in GTA V when you do the hiest missons, and you accidently pick all the shit guys to help you, I think thats how Geoff picked the stage crew.
 
I'm not sure what some people want out of this show. To me it seems like a nice mix if awards, trailers, and interviews so far. Technical issues aside, this is miles ahead of last year.
 
What if Troy Baker is the voice of Mario in the game Nintendo is announcing at the end of the show. Keighly said he may be in a world premiere.
