If it were me I'd probably bug a mod about it, you getting Junior-ed for that feels like a pretty big overreaction or simply a misunderstanding.

Being made a junior isn't the same as a normal one and doesn't necessarily get reverted.
 
I'd bring it up to a mod. Sounds like a misunderstanding.

I'd be careful because Nemesis_ does a lot of good work in that thread, so I think they're more willing to take his side of things, even if it was just a miscommunication. Just be honest about it. Tell them that you don't care about getting the OT, you just want to be able to work on it, and you think the demotion to junior is a little extreme given the intent, and ask them to please reconsider.

I agree with bringing it up with a mod since that sounds messed up (especially the part where you were apparently unable to defend yourself before getting demoted).

it would best to have everything out there and then make a decision afterwards.

Dahbomb, yeah that kind of seems unfair. Unless you sent some weird secret evil PMs that you aren't sharing with us, being juniored for asking the guy who called making the OT's if he is willing to negotiate seems a little extreme (unless there are some explicit rules that I don't know about as I'm not in the habit of making OTs)
 
Being Juniored is what seems to be a bit too much imo. Are you sure it was because of that?

If mods intervened and were like yeah fuck you Dahbomb you're not doing shit, I'd just laugh at that, but rejunioring seems like too much.

Oh well, OTs have their own general thread, we probably shouldn't spend too long discussing it here.

Frankly OPs are largely pointless after the first day. 90% of visitors probably ignore it. It didn't really make a difference.

It was a giant troll and that's why I wanted to get ahead of it and PREVENT it this time around. Even though I had some legit content added in it after the fact it did turn off enough people.

Yeah, they're mostly useless after the first page. All that matters is having a place to gather everyone who wants to talk about that game.

I'll watch the Gregaman streams with GIFcam opened so I can capture some new stuff, maybe whoever will do the OT can use it.

EDIT: Chaser said that the one change he'd like to see the most would be jump cancelling not having hitstun anymore. That could be an interesting modifier. Or part of Hardcore mode.

Mental note: "negotiation" seems to be a bad word. Avoid usage.

Well, it requires a substantial amount of effort just to get it working, and even then it has considerable problems like missing post processing effects and music bugs. It's totally worth fixing it up to use the style switcher though.
