So you two exchange gamertags and que together, bam, 1/2 way to a better time already.

Me and several others have already agreed with each other that we're done playing without a team of 4. Especially at Onyx or higher.

Game is amazing, but it'll really grind you down if you MM alone and constantly get shitters who bring down an otherwise fantastic experience.

I agree with this.

When you're winning, or part of a good team, I almost put this game up there with Titanfall. But man, lag plus a shitboxcharlie team and it becomes one of the worst experiences around.

Take lag away and Halo 5 to me plays really fucking well. Everything flows really damn well. For me, the overall gameplay just needs a few tweaks here and there.

The bumpers have no problems this way and it's how controllers were designed to be held since forever.
Obviously if you held it in a different grip or used the pointer of your finger instead of where mine is it might not work as well as the 360's did.

The Xbox controllers are designed to be held with the index finger on the trigger not the bumpers. Bumpers were designed to be "bumped" as secondary inputs not as prime ones.

You are thinking of the PlayStation family of controllers up until the Dual Shock 4. (The DS4 has adopted the bumper theme now as well)

You can hold a controller any way you like but don't confuse that for the intended use.

I'm just showing how it's held. I'm definitely not confusing controllers because I've used every controller since the start of time.
Yes, normally you have your finger on the trigger, as I normally do. I just put it on the bumper as the argument is about the bumpers.

Also it's hard to tell in the picture, but my finger is barely on the bumper, only a small part of it was "bumping" it with most of the finger still at the trigger area.

Does anybody want to check this out and let me know if this works please.

Not sure if this has been done before or if anybody wan'ts to try. Figured it would be an easy way to "favorite" and add certain people on your friends list with similar preferences/skill level for easier and quicker access.

Not sure if it's a looked down upon thing to do around here but I figured I'd give it a try since so many people seem frustrated with shitty teammates when MM.
 
Had some weird shit happen where I meleed a sword guy in the back. It went to a assassination animation, then did nothing and he turned around and killed me.

The stuff I bring up about lag is never like that, it was a one off and I laughed out loud once I died, lol.

Compared to a lot of video clips I have seen posted here you can roughtly work out delay on the lengh of your kill cam, more often then not the camera for me is within the moment I die so I don't actually see how the other player spotted me, also like other halo games the delay in throwing a grenade and actually seeing it spawn.

When on a good uk server these problems are completely gone and I love it, but a good 4 in 5 matches tonight have been 200+ ping easily, if not more, it makes shooting others extremely annoying because their shields react on a delay and so does the hit marker/sound, that has a delay too!
 
Halo has always been a game you have to invest time into in order to be good. It is not a pick up and kill game like many other shooters. A lot of people I talk to don't like Halo for that very reason.

As I said earlier, the long TTK is what is preventing Halo from reaching it's intended audience.

343 needs ot decide who it wants it's audience to be.
 
Anyone with a squad need one more? Tired if getting matched with kids who pull a 0.5 ratio and don't use mics.

Just went 16-4. It's starting to come back to me. Not being able to back out of a lobby that's searching for players is crazy lame.

I think it's mainly the practice effect. I don't have much time to play these days. Kids are all on Christmas break and I'm sure there are many playing it non-stop.
